Quick Facts About Trent Park Cafe

The Trent Park Cafe has received mixed reviews from customers, highlighting both strengths and weaknesses. This analysis will delve into the comments provided by customers to identify the key strengths and weaknesses of the cafe.
Starting with the strengths, several customers appreciated the good location of the cafe within the park. The convenient location allows visitors to easily access the cafe while enjoying their time in the park. Additionally, the affordability of the prices was mentioned positively by customers. This suggests that the cafe offers reasonably priced options for food and drinks, making it accessible for a wide range of customers. Moreover, the cafe staff were described as kind and providing patient and lovely service. Friendly and attentive staff can greatly enhance the overall dining experience for customers.
Moving on to the weaknesses, cleanliness emerged as a significant issue. Some customers complained about dirty tables and a generally unclean environment. Cobwebs and dirt were mentioned, indicating a lack of proper cleaning and maintenance within the cafe. This could create an unappealing atmosphere for customers and negatively impact their dining experience.
Another major weakness highlighted by customers was the quality of the coffee. Multiple customers mentioned that the coffee was not clean enough and lacked taste. This suggests that the cafe needs to improve the quality of their coffee to meet customer expectations. In addition, it was mentioned that the cafe does not provide toilets, forcing customers to use the park's toilets which were described as awful. This lack of facilities can be inconvenient for customers, particularly those with children.
Food quality and pricing were also noted as weaknesses by some customers. The food was described as deep-fried and tasteless, served on paper plates. This indicates a lack of attention to quality and presentation in the food offered by the cafe. Moreover, the prices were deemed overpriced, with specific criticism regarding a cup of tea being priced at £2.00. This may deter potential customers who perceive the cafe to be charging too much for the value they receive.
Customer service was another weakness mentioned by a few reviewers. The service was described as slow and not friendly. This negative experience with customer service can greatly impact a customer's impression of the cafe and their willingness to return.
Based on the comments provided, it is evident that the Trent Park Cafe has both strengths and weaknesses. Some of the strengths include a good park location, affordable prices, and kind staff. However, weaknesses such as cleanliness issues, low-quality coffee, lack of toilets, unappetizing food, overpricing, and poor customer service were also identified. Addressing these weaknesses would greatly enhance the overall customer experience and improve the reputation of the Trent Park Cafe.

Great park coffee. Good location , kindly person and affordable prices. We ordered 2 coffee, 1 cake and Ice cream for my son. I just want to remake this, coffee is not enough clean. We sat dirty table and cleaned myself. Coffee is okey but not tasty. This is the most important coffee doesn’t have toilet and you should use awful park toilet ????????‍♀️
I would completely avoid this cafe and bring your own coffee / picnic.
The place is filthy, cobwebs and dirt everywhere. Completely overpriced (£2.00 for a cup of tea?) and not worth it at all. The food is deep fried and tasteless, served on paper plates I opened the kids fish fingers to find it was not even white.
You don’t even get a good view of park. If you have children I really would encourage bringing your own food and having a picnic in the fields (Trent park itself is stunning)
Good selection of food. A touch on the pricey side but that is what is expected nowadays. Would have liked my waffle to look like an actual waffle though. Looked more like a crep/pancake. Tasted good otherwise.
I’ve had food previously here and sometimes takeaway coffee or hot chocolate. The hot drinks are nothing special unfortunately and normally if I can get my drink from another coffee shop on my way I usually do that to get a better quality hot drink. They seem to sell Costco cakes and pastries, double the price but unfortunately not as fresh as it seems to have been sitting there for days.
The food has always been very average and over priced for the quality you get. Never tried the bbqs they sometimes have so can’t comment on that.
The customer service is usually very poor and it has nothing to do with how busy they are as the service is always slow and not the most friendliest environment.
The actual coffee shop is in a great location and I love the seating outside, if they could improve the quality of their meals and drinks and train or employ friendlier staff it will really improve the quality of this cafe.
Terrible unhealthy food. Ordered sausage baguette with salad, was told I can’t have salad, only crisps. Not even a flippin leaf of lettuce! And my daughter’s lunch (chips & nuggets) wasn’t much better.
Not only great, delicious and plentiful food but patient and lovely service too!
Very slow service for weekday lunch. The reasonably priced 5£ burgers are gone and now they only have the 9.50£ ones. Recommend fries (4£) and maybe ice cream cones. Used to love this place but will now stop at Subway Sandwich shop on the way over.
Years ago this was such a great place. Was shocked by the terrible transformation, such a shame. Firstly coffee was dire, it was like a cup of hot milk, then the food is served in polystyrene containers which is irresponsible and entirely unavoidable for the longevity of our planet and wildlife. The outside area was filthy, bases of tables caked in mud, tatty chairs, a good sweep up is essential. A new addition was the kebab hut which stunk of cooking fat. Do people really want this kind of place - I think we're all more aware of healthy fresh food presented nicely from a business respectful of its environment. This could be so much more than it is
