Quick Facts About The Music Cafe

The Music Cafe has several strengths that contribute to its overall appeal. Firstly, customers commend the coffee and drinks offered at the cafe. The iced green tea and iced caramel macchiato are praised as being delicious and satisfying. The coffee is described as having a "musical motif," enhancing the unique theme of the cafe.
Another strength is the music itself. The house band and solo guitarist receive positive feedback from customers, with their song selection being highlighted as great, particularly classic rock. The volume level of the music is comfortable and allows for conversations to take place without disturbance. Customers also appreciate the open mic format, where individuals can showcase their talent. However, it is worth noting that participants are required to pay $10 or purchase $10 worth of food. This ensures a steady flow of performers and facilitates the cafe's atmosphere.
The cafe's decor is also considered a strength, with customers expressing an appreciation for the interesting artwork on the walls. The modern and tasteful ambiance, combined with the background jazz music, creates a relaxing and pleasant environment for visitors.
Furthermore, the friendly and efficient service is highlighted as a strength of The Music Cafe. Customers appreciate the helpfulness of the staff, particularly in recommending drinks that suit their preferences. The service contributes to the overall positive experience and adds to the relaxed atmosphere of the cafe.
However, The Music Cafe does have a few weaknesses that need to be addressed. One common complaint is the uncomfortable chairs. Customers mention that this discomfort led them to leave earlier than desired. This issue could impact customer satisfaction and contribute to a lack of repeat business. The limited opening hours and compact space also receive criticism, with some customers expressing a desire for more lounge-type seating or expanded hours of operation. These factors may limit the number of customers the cafe can accommodate and potentially affect its overall success.
Another weakness is the limited menu options. While the coffee, tea, smoothies, and sandwiches received positive feedback, some customers express a desire for more variety in food choices. Expanding the menu could attract a wider customer base and encourage repeat visits.
Additionally, a customer complained about their negative experience with the service and food quality. The initial off-putting remark from the staff member, paired with a dry and overpriced sandwich, left a negative impression. Ensuring consistent quality, friendly service, and fair pricing are crucial for maintaining a satisfied customer base.
In terms of publicity, some customers believe that The Music Cafe would benefit from increased promotion to raise awareness. Expanding their marketing efforts through social media, local publications, or community networks could help draw more customers and generate higher foot traffic.
In conclusion, The Music Cafe has various strengths, such as delicious drinks, great music, friendly service, and tasteful decor. However, it also faces challenges like uncomfortable seating, limited hours and menu options, as well as occasional negative experiences and insufficient publicity. By addressing these weaknesses, The Music Cafe can maximize its strengths and create a more enjoyable and successful experience for its customers.

Best KBFKR Reviews

We've seen this cafe a few times and decided to stop by. The place was pretty empty, the only people there was the woman behind the counter, the 3 piece house band, and one guitarist who played a few songs. The two of us were the only paying customers. The green iced tea was good, and the service was good. We sat at a table opposite the band, and the chairs were extremely uncomfortable. We had to leave after an hour because of the uncomfortable chairs. The house band was ok, though their song selection was great, classic rock. They definitely had their volume set low enough that we could carry on a conversation. Very comfortable volume level. The guitarist who played several songs solo was very good. The art on the walls was interesting - I liked it. It was an open mic format, but each player had to pay $10 or buy $10 worth of food, which would be pretty easy as their prices were a bit high. Menu was pretty limited - mostly coffee, tea, smoothies, and a few different sandwiches. I can imagine going back at some point, but I think I may bring a cushion.
Nice quaint shop. Great coffee with a musical motif. They do open mic on the two days a week they are open so it gets some nice atmosphere.
Great music. Comfortable and open to requests to sign along. Very happy, cordial and comfortable place. Open twice per week, Tuesdays & Sundays for a few hours 6:30pm opens both days and only for a couple hours. Worth every minute. You're able to drink alcohol. Wine & beer. Cover charge when you do. Just getting started. I'd like to see them have more publicity. It's a small place next to domino's pizza on 51st & Northern. Family oriented.
Finally got to visit this place. Currently only open 3 days a week for about 3 hours each of those days. Or was smaller inside than I expected and was expecting more lounge type seating with it being a coffee house with live music. We just had coffees and teas stop can't comment on any food they offer. Drinks were all good other than the green tea as it mainly tasted like water but that's always a risk with green tea. They seem to have some house musicians and people can sign up to do sets of 3 songs. Was kind of hard to talk at all as the music is loud and it is a compact space. Was interested and hope to see some expansion of times and offerings as things are getting more back to normal.
This place is just...perfect. I stopped just because I wanted a non-chain coffee on my way home from an errand and was pleasantly surprised that they served breakfast. The woman at the counter helped me pick a coffee and she suggested an iced Carmel macchiato, it was amazing! The decor is modern, it's clean with classy jazz playing. Definitely a good place to reset and unwind. I would definitely come here again.
So I've lived in this neighborhood for 30+ years and have seen many little businesses come and go out of this corner shop at 51st and Northern. So a couple years ago a coffee/sandwich/pastry shop opened up. I've seen post about there food and beverages and general ambiance. Always looked favorable, good reviews and all. So I decided to try it for lunch today. Apon walking in I was greeted by the man behind the counter with "What do you want, just kidding" he says, so right off the bat it was off putting. I should have walked out but I gave it a chance to redeem it self. I ordered there club and a medium pina colada smoothie, 15 dollars, wow, ok it better be the bomb! Even though the sandwich appeared to be a good size, it was mainly bread and very dry and the smoothie was ok but the medium was more like a small, all in all not worth 15 bucks! The only redemption on the place is the decor is cool but not enough to bring me back. Too bad!
We love meeting here. Delicious food/drink; so far not one thing on the menu that's I've tried hasn't been top notch. The service is friendly and efficient. The ambiance is relaxed yet tastefully decorated.
I've been there a handful of times. The food and service have been great and consistent. Their El Corazon Latte is one of a kind! Their Espresso Cubano con Panna is fantastic and their Cold Brew is pretty good. I've also had their paninis; I especially like their Smoked Turkey Pesto. Though I had to wait about 15 minutes for them, it's more than worth it knowing they prepare them fresh and with a nice small salad. Very friendly staff and ownership. And the music they play is relaxing. I'll definitely be back.
