I recently visited The Greatest of the Plates and had a mixed experience. The shrimp and lobster were delicious, but the salmon bites didn't quite hit the mark for me. However, the seafood egg roll was a standout dish. The seating was a bit limited, but the ambiance was fantastic, with great music and vibes throughout. I particularly enjoyed the well-seasoned and crispy chicken tender. My husband tried the Big Wet Burger Box and enjoyed the chicken egg roll, wings, and said the burger was decent. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with some highlights and room for improvement.
My first experience visiting this place. Customer service was pleasant , vibes were pretty chill inside and I enjoyed the layout of the place. As per the food, I ordered the salmon bites, seafood eggs rolls and some fries. I realized that when I inquired how many egg rolls come in the order the cashier actually added two orders of egg rolls which isn’t what I wanted. I wanted one order of egg rolls, but they were pretty good so I wasn’t complaining that he didn’t listen to what I ordered. The salmon bites were dusted with some some type of Parmesan salt that I don’t like and it did not come with the yum yum sauce that it should have, nor was it drizzle with hot honey as I ordered.They were okay just dry as hell. The fries were okay. The eggrolls made up for my disappointment in the salmon bites. Overrall id give them about a 6 out of 10.
Ps. I just realized the shrimp in the seafood egg rolls isn’t cleaned. I’m completely disgusted.
This was my FIRST time ever seeing this place yesterday and I’m glad I discovered it. That was thee best $30 wing meal I’ve ever eaten. The fries were hot and crispy. The seasoning on top was new to my taste buds. I enjoyed the fry switch up they were a 8/10. My two wing flavors were 24k and the Nashville hot. The 24k was a sweet sauce that reminded me of the infamous “Carolina Gold”. 10/10 I highly recommend. Nashville hot was definitely lit! I LOVED the spice and light sweet. That sauce is a 10/10. Lastly, shoutout to the cashier. She was so nice gave us the green apple drink on the house. The drink was super sweet and definitely embodied the sour green apple flavor. 9/10. Unfortunately, I couldn’t sit down an enjoy the food there. many of the tables were dirty and the place gave an icky feel. I do suggest they DEEP clean. Overall, I would definitely order from this place again. highly, recommend others to order to-go though.
ONLY REASON you guys are getting 3 stars overall because my last two times ordering I was not satisfied with the customer service or taste. Last night I ordered for the 3rd time I ordered seafood eggrolls and fries. You guys turned away my third driver after telling him that the food wasn’t ready. He stayed an EXTRA 30 minutes for my food just for you guys to tell him somebody already took my order which why would I have had 3 drivers come to your store to get my order if initially it wasn’t even ready to begin with? By the time the fourth driver got there I’m assuming Uber contacted you all or you seen my back to back missed calls but luckily I was able to get my food remade and delivered by the 4th driver. Then when I finally get my order I was highly disappointed to have took a bite out of my eggroll to only find out it’s dry chicken with sauce on top to help (which it didn’t). Now the 2nd time I came I decided to give these eggrolls a try and immediately regretted it. I was so disappointed in my meal last night and only ate it because I was that hungry. I really was looking forward to the seafood eggroll that I had when I first ordered from you guys. The little burger box has always been very tasty when it comes to the flavors between the burger and wings. I hope you guys decide to have 2 people working up front soon so one can strictly focus on Togo orders and someone can focus on walk-in orders which was the big issue when I came the first 2 times. The atmosphere is there definitely see the vision but you need better trained service employees who can better handle high volume orders and can make sure orders are getting sent out in a decent time I know this isn’t always possible but with the right staffing anything is possible. I hope to return soon and pick up in person because delivery will not be an option anymore. The picture below are when I first tried you guys and my order from last night and I think we all can agree one looks more appealing than the other.
Food that makes me happy is what I desire and it’s what I got from here. Too often we long to support local businesses but they fall short by overpromising and under delivering: not here though! It’s worth the energy they put forth into getting you in the door; and personally speaking, they won my loyalty through my stomach. The customer service was world-class - they know their food and they’re happy to introduce you to it. The young lady who took my order was welcoming and invited me to the experience. Rashad treated me like I was a close relative and made me feel at home. Definitely the kind of atmosphere you want to break bread in. I’ll be back, for sure..and that’s saying a lot for a guy who’s fueled by New Orleans cuisine these days.
I ordered this and I must say I was expecting way more flavor then I got especially because I thought it was super popular, but what I can say is that the rice was super bomb. I did love the rice the mac & cheese had minimal flavor and the salmon was dry. The shrimp were good though and I did not like the eggroll at all it had no flavor but overall it was decent but for the price I wouldn’t say it was worth it I can say I would go back to try the crab fingers hopefully they will not disappoint and I will definitely get the rice again. I tried the desserts, and those were also very bland not quite sweet enough for my liking.
The whole experience was amazing. I went with some friends for a conference. We all got our food within 10-20 minutes of ordering. The food tasted absolutely amazing. I got the Lil Wet Burger Box with a honey mustard drizzle. It was good and the seating area and restroom were clean.
Food is always on point so no complaints with that. I usually order thru delivery but this was my first visit in store to pick up my food. Waited nearly an hour past the time it was supposed to be ready because of some apparent operational issues with the kitchen that they eventually worked out. It was disappointing but understandable. I get it, things happen. Table I waited at was very sticky. My only real complaint however, is customer service of your team members needs work. The dismissive responses to customers is not necessary. I'll continue to eat here because like I said the food is great but I doubt I'll visit in store again so delivery it shall be.
PS. Salmon Bites were amazing and the Seafood Eggroll was heaven in your mouth. The bacon ranch fries were perfectly loaded and very good.
