We walked by this place and could smell the burgers and it drew us in. The place seemed pretty cool with an indoor bar area and seating area as well as an outdoor area. It wasn’t that packed, although there were plenty of customers sitting down eating and standing in line to order. The service was good, but I was disappointed they didn’t tell us the wait time for food when we were ordering. It took us about 50 minutes to get our food from the time it was ordered. I’m assuming it was because they were short staffed, but a courtesy heads up would have been great. The staff was friendly and really trying to be accommodating, but I just don’t think they had enough people working to meet the demand. Overall, the burgers were pretty good and they do have a selection of draft beers. I wish they had more sodas to choose from. One other thing is it’s cold sitting outside, but the heat burning lamps weren’t working. Apparently out of propane. They’ll need to fire these up again. Overall, the rating was based off this experience, but I’m pretty sure if I went when they were fully staffed it would’ve been higher.
Visited this friendly place during our lunchbreak. Staff is super friendly, have a wide variety of local beers on tap and the burgers were amazing ????
My nephew and I came here on a recent trip to Santa Fe. We saw the “stars” but didn’t read the reviews and figured it was a good place. The burgers were well rounded as if they just were form a frozen package, I’d rate them around a 7 or so. As for the wings, they were horrible and flavorless. Unfortunately they make you pay before you eat which also gives the tip option. If I would’ve ate before I paid and tipped I would’ve left a lesser tip due to the food and service. Also, no fountain drinks. Canned coked. Over all for 3 of us, it was around $70+, definitely not worth even $30. Would’ve been better at a big chain restaurant I’m familiar with.
A good burger joint very close to the square in Santa Fe. I like a lot of what they do here. They carry quality local beers, and serve high quality food. Sunday afternoon service isn't the fastest but they get it done. You order at the counter and get a number for your table. The duck fat fries I had were tasty and correctly cooked. Same with the green Chile burger, very well cooked (medium well) and flavorful, just enough kick to it. Did I mention they have milkshakes as well? This location has indoor seating as well as outdoor seating that extends into Burro alley, very pleasant.
Casual burger place with a nice outdoor patio. GREAT people (and dog) watching. Definitely a more punk/rock vibe. I got the Impossible burger, despite not being a vegetarian, and WOW it was good. Super juicy and flavorful/spicy. Also had some sort of wonderful margarita/cocktail with green chile infused alcohol. The bartender recommended a chocolate-y stout made by a local brewer which was fabulous.
Overall loved their take on a burger joint with a definite NM flair. ????
Laid back pub with better then usual pub menu. I had the Green Chili Cheeseburger. It was good sized and tasted great and cooked perfectly. The fries are delicious also. The court yard has an amazing atmosphere.
We really wanted to like this place, we've heard good things. Ordered a Fire Burger, truffle parmesan fries and a side of fries with their famous marshmallow sauce for our little guy. The fries came out but no burger. We waited 40 minutes and still no burger. Parmesan truffle fries were good but a little on the pricey side (and skimpy when it came to portion). The side of fries were perfect for my son and he thoroughly enjoyed the marshmallow sauce. The gentleman that took our order was awesome and refunded us for the burger.
Burgers at this burger stand are exactly what I was hoping they would be! Food was good, line moved fast, service was fast. Lots of shady places to sit. We stopped here passing through on a road trip and we were not disappointed.
