I don't often go to hesston, but when I do I like to stop here for lunch. Their food is delicious, made fresh with real ingredients at a price McDonald's can't beat. They have a cool retro automotive aesthetic throughout. The place is kept neat and clean, and the staff is always friendly. I will definitely be back!
We’ve dined here before, the food is usually pretty good but nothing to write home about. Tonight was disappointing. The woman who works the register is extremely rude and seems to be very unhappy working here. If there were more choices in the area to eat we would dine elsewhere just because of her unfriendly and unwelcoming attitude. I ordered the 1/4 pound cheeseburger. My first bite I bit into a hard piece of onion skin. I continued to eat the rest of the burger and continued biting into onion skin. The patty was extremely thin and I had more bun than meat. Not very appetizing and quite disappointing considering the price. I’m in no rush to come back.
What an Amazing home town eatery!! My sons and I arrived late on a Tuesday night just before closing but the attendant was very nice and cheery. The service was fast and friendly. The food was AMAZING!!! My mushroom Swiss burger with BBQ sauce brought back memories of grandma farm and family dinners. I was shocked when the owner remembered what I “usually” order (I hadn’t been there in over a year). The place was clean and tidy… even the kitchen and cooking areas were sparkling - a rarity in a burger shack. My boys loved all the old vintage signs and the happy hotdog man by the condiments table is a hoot!!
Our icecream shakes on the way out the door was the perfect end to a wonderful evening celebrating my youngest sons first high school touchdown the night before.
Definitely a must stop place for great food good service and a fun place to catch a quick bite!!
First time to visit. Loved the fries and corn dog, but I loved the decor even more. The staff was extremely friendly. I'll stop in any time I'm in Hesston!
The new barbecue sandwich lacking on amount of meat, texture was mushy and there wasn't much flavor. The fries were good.
Don’t order a bacon cheeseburger. Their bacon is never done all the way. The whole staff isn’t really that friendly. Prices are fantastic though, very affordable! They used to load you up with fries, and now it seems like they’ve went down to smaller amounts. All around not too bad of a place, wish it was a little more friendly atmosphere
The food was delicious. I ordered the double bacon chili cheeseburger and was not disappointed. It was messy but I expected as much and totally worth it. Great burger, great flavor. The crinkle fries were perfectly cooked and served HOT, just as they should be. The staff was very helpful and kind.
This is again, just another run of the mill burger joint. If you like Freddy's style patties; this is the perfect place for you. The fries were cooked at a consistent even rate. Some were over cooked and others were under cooked; either way they were over salted. If you have never been here before like this first experience for me; don't expect a suggestion or display on cup sizes. The overall appearance of the seating area appears to be fairly well kept.
