Great place to hang out. Have always seen it and finally went in and checked it out. Great dive bar experience
I read a review on this bar that they don't make outsiders feel welcome.
So I wanted to see for myself.
That statement couldn't be more wrong.
I arrived for 2 drinks on one day was welcomed open armed great chat at the bar...
3 nights later had another few drinks there. Played with a local girl pool ???? and everyone couldn't be nicer. Well done Steve. And Barb you'll beat me the next time ????

Positive: Great bartender, strong mixed drinks, great prices, willing to turn the jukebox up, wifi available, free chex mix.
Not so great: Small environment; felt crowded with 10 people in there, and why have a pool table if it stays covered? Put in some tables maybe? Those steps at entrance are very steep, stool was not comfortable.
Used to love this place, but with the new owner, bar prices went up and is not as good as it used to be!

Local dive bar/hangout. Conveniently located a short hop from the Navy Base and Crooked River State Park. We were welcomed warmly even though we were strangers. No food is served although they do occasionally have cookouts and pot lucks. Staff was very nice as were the people we were seated next to at the bar. Limited beer selection but they did have Guinness. I had a decent pinot grigio which was carefully measured out for a 5 oz pour. (Really, in this kind of place??? Buy some cheaper wine for the bar and pour generously.) One lady was drinking 19 Crimes Red, of which there were several bottles on the back bar. I imagine if you are a regular they will get what you want. If you want real glass bring your own. This is strictly a plastic cup joint. Prices are decent. Definitely a fun place but be advised SMOKING IS ALLOWED!!!!! That's really the only detractor for me. Otherwise I could hang out there.
The last time I was there was December 1994 just before I retired from the Navy. It was called The Bloody Bucket back then. I always had a great time there back then and was happy to see it still has the same fantastic customers. I wish I could have stayed longer but had to get back to Edgewater, FL
Local pub that is most friendly of ALL IN Camden county. Family friendly and lots of holiday celebratory activities.
