Best WLM Reviews

The Breakfast Nook is a charming hidden gem located in the heart of Land O Lakes. This cozy restaurant is known for its quaint atmosphere, cleanliness, and as a popular meeting spot for friends and colleagues. Visitors can expect plentiful and delicious food options, along with quick and friendly service. With plenty of seating, parking, and smiling faces, The Breakfast Nook is a must-visit eatery for those looking for a delightful breakfast and lunch experience. We would return again.
We were so looking forward to trying this new place, we didn’t mind the extra drive to get here. Rather busy for a late Friday morning but since there’s indoor seating as well as outdoor seating, we were able to sit down right away. One waitress took our drink order immediately and was quick to deliver our coffee and juice but then seemed to forget about us. Dining room is somewhat overcrowded and we felt we needed to adjust our seating each time someone passed by. Another waitress noticed us looking around and asked if we were all set and we explained that we hadn’t placed our order yet. So then she left and we were left there wondering what happened. She finally came back with their little white mobile device that she seemed to be having some trouble with. Finally after she was done fiddling with it, she took our order. Since I ordered a-la-cart, she kept trying to cross reference my choosings to something on the menu so I had to keep explaining, that I didn’t want that. Took FOREVER to get our food and when I asked her on her way by if she could check on our order, she said, “Yes, I did.” So I had to follow up with, “And….?” This woman had absolutely no professionalism at all. All she could say was that they were really backed up in the kitchen, which didn’t make sense because the entire dining room had already been replaced with new customers. We were so hungry by the time our food arrived, I forgot to take photos before we dug in!! Our meals were not fresh off the grill either. Bacon and hash browns were lukewarm at best. Eggs Benedict was not great: English muffin was maybe 1/4” thick and it had a slice of cheap American cheese on it. Food was delivered as ordered which is why I’m giving a 2 star and not a one star review.
My husband and I are frequent customers and I just had to review this place, it's a quaint little breakfast/lunch spot that serves it all day and I still haven't tried their lunch menu, in the near future I will. Service is always pleasant and everyone works real hard to ensure you have a great meal. Our favorite is the spinach-feta omelet, that sauce is divine that they use in it, potatoes are always crispy and I tried the biscuit this time when I usually go for toast that biscuit is a 10/10. If you're in the Lutz area definitely make this a place to stop but get there early as after 9am at least on the weekends they get busy
Service is a little slow, because there aren't many servers, but it goes perfectly with the chill atmosphere. All food is made fresh to order, so expect a wait. This is definitely not a quick in and out type of restaurant, so if you're in a rush this may not be for you. But if you have time, you will really enjoy yourself here. The food is fresh, made to order, hot and delicious. The portions are also big with great price points. We had to take food home because it was a lot! Overall, great experience.
I enjoyed the spinach and feta flatbread. My husband had the western omelette. Everything was delicious! The coffee was very good. Clean, casual relaxed atmosphere !
Wow what a delicious meal!! I got the spinach feta flatbread. Probably the most unique breakfast food I've ever had and it was sooooo good! The biscuits are perfect, light buttery but not greasy and come out warm. Tots were fried just right. Home fries were seasoned perfect! 2 huge meals with an OJ for $26. The patio was awesome, looked like my grandma's backyard with tables under the trees. Just amazing!
It hit the spot!!!
We ordered way to much and enjoyed all of it again the next day.
No complaints
This restaurant offers a relaxed ambiance, ideal for those not in a hurry. Every dish is freshly prepared upon ordering, which means a bit of a wait is expected. The food is consistently fresh, hot, and delicious. Generous portion sizes combined with reasonable prices mean you might end up taking leftovers home. Overall, it provides a delightful dining experience. They are also open for lunch.
