My final & dipped result after 14 hours... I rode out the experience thinking it would sort out eventually which didn't.. I called the next day to ask for help to finish/fix.. 9 days later, still no reach out or check in. I wish I could lie about this, but I spent 15 hours to finish the braiding & re dip by myself.
The owner is ghetto and has really bad energy. She put glue in my friends hair, and attempted to break it off. Fortunately, she was able to find a stylist to save her hair. Please avoid this salon at all costs and go to the African branders.
Yall avoid this spot the owner Tanya is a fake lier sad you still have a hole in the wall shop, 30 years an you still TRASH!!!
Started my dreadlocks journey with Miss Jannete and it was a pleasure doing business with a black owned business. Each staff member made me feel welcomed and the vibes were very positive. I recommend this shop for anyone looking for hair needs. I was able to receive service on the same day and I was in and out of the shop quickly. Thank very much and see you in 6 weeks.
I haven’t been here in about two years and all I have to say is that I’m still beyond satisfied!! LaTanya was real sweet, loving and extremely professional!! I definitely recommend coming here!!
First time going was on June 30, 2018. Kay, Kay did my hair. She was wonderful. Experience was great. Everyone was very professional and the the other finished hair styles looked fantastic. The hair stylist can really style hair. I'm returning and I'm telling all my friends to go there.
My appointment was at 1pm and the original girl that was meant to do my hair didn’t show up until after 3. Another lady started on my head at around 1:40pm. I had to wait too long before I got my hair started on. Very unprofessional. They took too many breaks while doing my hair. The only good thing is they work really fast to finish your hair which is amazing but the wait to actually have them start is ridiculous .
First call to them they were really rude on the phone. They use too much hair and make you pay for more hair. When they run out of hair they use a different color than what you want. I can get my hair done better using less hair than they do. Second visit I called and requested a certain hair braider and when I got there they said she was not working that day. They wanted to let the person I did not want to do my hair. When they braid the braids are different sizes then the size paid for. The wait time is about 1-2 hours after appointment time. All together bad service.
