Best WLM Reviews

My husband and I ventured out to a place I just recently found on Facebook even though we've lived in Auburn for years. The food was incredible, everything came out hot. Couldn't even finish the appetizer before the main course came out. The place isn't fancy, but a great place to get great food. No wait, even on a Friday night! We will be back -- definitely worth the drive. BTW, the best fried green tomatoes!
This was our first time to this location. In short I would definitely recommend. The service we when we first walked in was prompt and friendly. Our waitress asked if it was out first time and said if there was anything she could do to make our experience good then to let her know. I got the rib eye sandwich with Mac and cheese. The sandwich was great and a nice size for the price. The Mac and cheese was OK. It did lack flavor. My wife received the fried shrimp plate. That was a nice lightly fried shrimp and had good flavor. Her slide was flash fried Brussel sprouts. These were very good as well. There were some Brussels sprouts that were burt a bit taking away from the rest of the side. In all this cost a out $35 with sweet tea. This is a great place to bring your family.
Even though the fajitas weren't on the menu (I had them on fajita night, such is Tuesday), because I had asked about them, the server told the chef and he came out and said he would make them for me. The first time I was here, my husband and I were worth another couple and when her husband asked for French dressing and they didn't have it, they went across the street to a convenience store and bought it for him! They accommodate you every way they can and the food is always awesome
Food was great. Service was terrible. I guess whoever said the service was good didn't get Hannah. Appetizers took forever to come out. Got a filet mignon instead of the ribeye I asked for. I don't know how that gets mixed up. Steaks are supposed to come with 2 sides, I order baked potatoes and home fries. Never got the fries so I had to ask for them, then it turns out she charged my for it. I don't know if she was having a bad day or what, but from time she came to take our drink orders everyone at our table could tell she wasn't friendly. It almost seemed like she was avoiding us. But like I said, at least the food was good. Maybe we should order ahead of time and get it to go so that way we can get the good food without having a waitress like the one we got.
I had the ribeye steak( was ok better than T-Bones steakhouse), bake potato (wasn't completely cooked) and the broccoli casserole (tasted dry and not warm at all). The service was friendly... was in and out in about an hour. The atmosphere was relaxing not noisy like other places. Might try again.
Ordered country fried steak with mashed potatoes and a side salad. It was great!! My husband ordered the all you can eat spaghetti special and hebsaid it was really good. The best things were the drinks he had a pink diamond and I had a relaxing on the river!! Amazing
Waitress was slow and had no personality. Food was 45 minutes late. Baked potato was cold.
No bread because you have to ask for it if you want it we were told at the end. Steak was dark red and so tough you couldn’t chew it.
Asked for ranch dressing and cocktail sauce for the shrimp but never got it. Tea was cloudy and stale. Manager came out and asked what the problem was he started arguing about how they cooked the steak the right amount of time and when we told him It was not edible he said, “If you don’t like it don’t come back”.
The fried okra was delicious. The red velvet cake was dry and didn't have a good taste, at all. I will go back to try their other dishes.
