The boat fish & chips caught our attention passing through town. The service was great; friendly and offered best selection from menu. We ordered the fish and chips plate and the special halibut burger (amazing and I recommend). If stopping in to Coos Bay it is worth the stop.
Just the place we were looking for clam chowder! The sourdough bread bowl was made locally by Empire bakery, and was SOOO delicious! Sat outside to watch the rain under heaters :) thanks for the great service!
Great atmosphere with a classic fish and chips shack feel. The staff was excellent and helped my son get the right soda he wanted after he ordered the wrong kind. The fish and chips were hot, crispy, and good. I didn't try the tarter sauce, but the cocktail sauce had just the right amount of horseradish in it. However, the clam chowder was thin and lacked any real clam flavor. I just kinda expect any clam chowder to be thick and clumpy with potatoes, clams, and onions, etc. Overall, pretty dang good food and we'll be back for sure.
Friendly service. Delicious chowder bread bowl. Excellent fish and chips. Tasty tarter and plenty of horseradish in the cocktail sauce. Good tap list. Fun atmosphere that was kid friendly.
We are so glad we chose to stop and eat lunch here. Our server was absolutely amazing and so great with our kids!!! Our server said she had been there about 10 years and it shows. The kids loved their food. My wife and I loved our food. The environment was awesome! I would definitely come back if ever in town.
We are out of state visiting family. The food was great. the service was good! I ordered a fish sandwich, and when it came out, it had a small hair on the fries. I told my server, and they had my food remade quickly! Good recovery from an accident. Had a great meal with good company. The only downer was that there are no fresh oysters on the half shell on their menu.
Good food friendly service, clean. The restaurant has several smaller dinning rooms and a small video poker machines room. The small heated enclosed dingy room for about 20 people (pictured) and a larger dinning room. Most food involves seafood of course. Good beer on tap.
Absolutely amazing! The menu has a huge variety of fried seafood. Cooked perfectly.. From Miami to Myrtle Beach, and from Fort Bragg and beyond, I have never had seafood cooked so well! Staff so friendly, food fresh and fast! Ordered and turned around and it was there! Great pricing, Highly Recommend.
