You could taste the banana in the Banana-Brown Sugar Latte. I got mine with macadamia milk (several milk alternatives here).
The cinnamon roll flavor changes each weekend. Today was Evie's Cinnamon Roll (filled with strawberry, rhubarb, and green apples topped with an orange-vanilla glaze). It was toasted on top and soft toward the interior and bottom of the roll. I enjoyed the glaze. However, it could have been more glaze.
Additionally, I had the Lemongrass-Marinated Tofu. The tofu was marinated well. It would have been better with a sauce to accompany it.
I wouldn't get the same foods again. However, I would certainly go back to try other items on the menu because of the quality foods and superb customer service!
Love this place!! Great selection of games and food is pretty solid as well. Service was fantastic and attentive. One of my servers was in training and made a mistake by double charging me, but they quickly helped me out after I asked about it! Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, will be back one day!
Side note: parking is very difficult to find in this area!
Stopped by today to have some coffee and get some work done. I had the Cafe Miele, and my son had the chocolate chip cookie, along with some fries & toast. The coffee, food, and service were all great! I also wanted to give a shoutout to our amazing server (I forgot to get her name). Will definitely come again and try out the board games and other food options next time!
I had Wild Bay Kombucha(strawberry-lavender),Pretzel Bites and Corn-cheddar hushpuppies.
Overall the food was good.
I visited on a Friday evening and was super busy.
Not a good spot for quiet work mode.It is pretty noisy.
Awesome spot in a great location. Very clean and bright atmosphere. Staff is friendly and helpful with game recommendations-- there's someone who is dedicated solely to helping you find a game and learn how to play it. Games are separated by type and the selection is good. So happy to have somewhere like this in the area. Food was great too! Try the Brussels sprouts-- they're top tier with delicious chili vinaigrette.
We always have an amazing time at Board and Brew! They have a wealth of games to choose from, delicious food options and knowledgeable, friendly staff. The coffee is also excellent! A must-go place for board gamers.
As a student, this is one of my best restaurant experience in college park area. The food was really good, tried the chicken sandwich: Mike’s mistake. I would recommend it, chicken breast in sandwich was moist unlike other places I have had chicken breast in a sandwich. The fries provided as sides was really crispy and tasted really good. Caramel late was okay. Food presentation was good and staff was friendly.
Most importantly, this place has an amazing collection of board games. If you plan on spending some more time, you can play your favorite board games while enjoying your food.
The parking can be an issue however one can park in a parking lot opposite to the restaurant in a shopping complex.
Restrooms were clean and usable.
Stopped in for a black bean burger and some game play, and received great service from the moment I walked through the door. Their collection includes classics like Monopoly and newer stuff like GoT, but they also have obscure games like The Spill—a multiplayer quest to rescue aquatic life from oil spills. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, the chai milkshake was delicious, and the bathrooms were clean. As an added touch, there’s a staffer on-hand to give recommendations and answer questions about the games. They also played a decent mix of ‘90s hip hop. I’d go back.
