Best WLM Reviews
Overall enjoyed it! Great bar for hockey fans. Nice atmosphere and seating. Service a little slow but the food was good and a decent beer selection. I had the bratwurst and especially loved the pretzel bun and toppings. Sweet potato fries had good flavor and temperature.
My experience was a good one. I got the Hometown Burger meal and it was delicious. Prices were actually good. It is comparable to other restaurants and did not feel like it had the “airport tax” like many others. Service and atmosphere were good for being in the airport during the lunch rush and servers being under constant stress. Will definitely return.
If you're flying through St Louis, you really should check out The Blue Note. As far as airport restaurants go, this place is great. Reasonable prices, delicious food, and friendly staff. Couldn't ask for more!
In fact this happens to be my second stop in St Louis in as many months and I made sure to stop by during my layover.
As a lot of other reviews say, solid for an airport restaurant. My girlfriend's fried chicken sandwich was solid, so was my hometown burger. The bacon was crisped perfectly. I spent an equivalent amount to a non-airport restaurant so it was nice not feeling price gouged. Didn't get our server's name but he was kind, pleasant, and helpful.
The staff were on point today. Four – 30–23 fun choices on the menu cold brews out of the tap. Reasonable prices with nice portions. The original fries came out cold. I let the server know. In another like 90 seconds I had a fresh hot bowl of fries. Now that service! Yes, they were swamped. Yes it was crowded. But that’s the way it is at the airport. Sometimes this isn’t real life. The server stepped up and crushed it.
“Pulled pork” on salad smelled like wet dog food. Chowder bland. Employees def didn’t want to be there & didn’t see waiter between getting food & having to track him down for the bill. This place is currently 2.6 ⭐️, should be lower.
I had a great experience here while waiting for my flight. I was here for dinner and had a friendly server. I ordered the Blues Burger with a side of fries. The food came out in a quick amount of time, and was cooked perfectly. My burger was tasty and the fries were very good. Overall, this is a great location located in the airport. The food was good, the staff were friendly, and the prices were decent. I would visit again!
Server was excellent! Hesitatingly suggesting they should find a better place to work however, as the food and presentation was below par. A nice, juicy bratwurst was insulted by a disheveled pretzel bun, with cold onions and gobs of mayo carelessly dribbled on top. French fries scattered across the tray with packets of mustard and a pickle on the side. Fair, the price was $9.99 (amazing for the airport) and the hunger was quenched, but a few bucks more for a better bratwurst would be far better. Tables needed a wipe prior to sitting down and the beer needed a coaster.
