We are so glad we found this place! The owner has a big personality and brings a happy vibe to the restaurant, and the other staff were friendly and attentive as well. We ordered the wings and a caprese pizza with chicken. Both were deliciously tasty and cooked to perfection. We also tried the Blackout cocktail in honor of the solar eclipse (see photo). So good that we each ordered another! Highly recommend!

Ok! So these have to be the best wings and slim crispy fries in Indianapolis. Decided to go on a bar crawl and this was one of the locations. The service wasn’t the best… but they tried. Definitely understaffed.

Chef Terry was very welcoming from the moment we arrived until we left. Had an amazing meal. Some of the best fried cod and french fries that I’ve ever had! If in downtown, you have to try The Block Bistro & Grill!
This place hands down has amazing food. Group of 5, we all tried different things on the menu. The nachos were delicious and fresh. The shrimp grilled and fried was AMAZING!! I can’t express that enough, it changed my life! The dessert with pecans on it was hot and tasty! And them onion rings were so good! Service was impeccable. Greeted us at the door. Extremely friendly. The shot “better than Gouda” was extremely good! Traveling thru Indy? Definitely stop by!
My children took me to The Block Bistro for Mothers' Day. It was my first time there. The food was incredible. Chef Terry made us feel at home and appreciated, for choosing The Block. I appreciated him and the rest of the staff. They were all great. I will definitely return and recommend to others.
Came in with a group. Food was great but service was kind of slow at the time when it wasn’t busy. There was one other table of 2. Nice atmosphere but expected better and faster service. Lots on the drink menu so that kept us occupied.
Me and my wife stopped by on a whim and had an absolutely awesome time. The drinks were on point and the wings were the best I've had in ages (jerk flavor). The owner Terry is awesome and we really enjoyed the conversation. You can tell he takes great pride in his restaurant, community and people in general. We were blessed by the experience and will be back next time we're in Indy.
