Best WLM Reviews
Our friends took us for a “tour” of downtown Wilmington and we were not disappointed! This speakeasy is one of a kind. Hidden in an alley I was a little apprehensive, but once we walked in I was blown away. I felt like I was in a Time Machine! This place has a Sarah of spirits. I ordered an old fashioned with Jefferson’s, and my wife ordered one of their featured cocktails. ???? The bartenders are true mixologists! This is a Wilmington hidden gem!
A favorite spot. Great ambiance, not loud, and fantastic drinks. Old Fashioned & Lions Tail this evening. A most stop when I'm in Wilmington. $5 annual membership required, but well worth it!
This place has a great atmosphere and they do the speakeasy vibe well even with their music adding to the feel. Drinks were excellent. Having a membership and or a fee to get in is a bit bizarre. My only real complaint is that they have a speaker right above a coach on the second floor so it is blaring at you yet the couch is so comfortable.
Wow, I’ve never appreciated cocktails so much. Knowledgeable bartenders made me a fantastic drink based on things I told him I liked. Classy and inviting atmosphere with nice music that you can talk over, what a treat.
What a cool experience! They really capture a special energy in this place! The seating is ample and comfortable, the drinks are well made, and the staff is super kind. Such a gem to stumble across tucked away in the alley. You really get the sense of discovery walking back to it and seeing the expanse inside of properly curated decor. I live far away but this has become a must come spot when I visit!
Great speakeasy that is easy to find down the alley. Very relaxing atmosphere! Hostess was awesome. Bartender was a little swamped maybe that is why she wasn't that friendly. Had a smoked old fashion that was prepared, only one small black cherry to much on the bitters and not much flavor overall. Asked for a sweet mock tail and got a rosemary infused lemonade that was tart. 2 drinks 45 bucks. Very expensive.
If you’re looking for the BEST mobile bar for any event, Vagabond is the one for you! Vagabond is a mobile extension of The Blind Elephant, so if you love them, you’ll love their bar trailer too!
We hired the team for our fall wedding and it was everything we hoped for! The communication and recommendations leading up to the wedding was ON PAR, but the service day of was over the moon! The staff was amazing, helpful, any truly made it a great time for all. Thank you all again for helping to make our day magical (and FUN)!!! 10/10 recommend!
They don’t serve food, but they serve wine, beer and a huge variety of cocktails! We loved the atmosphere, the piano player, the bar, and pretty much everything about the place. You have to pay $5 a person to become a member for a year, but it is well worth it. I would recommend eating before going because we didn’t want to leave when we did, but we needed to eat!
