You can find anything you want. Great beer, great food, lots of outdoor seating, awesome, indoor seating, sports bar in the back with a pool table, and dedicated parking with more on street parking available.
I haven’t been back to Eugene for 3 1/2 years and the Fierstein never disappoints. Their staff is very knowledgeable about beer on hand. They have a huge selection of micro breweries on tap and an even larger selection behind refrigerated doors.

It's a Bottle shop and Bar where you can sit at a bar and enjoy Tab beer, buy beer from various countries and brands, and sit down and drink.
It was good to be able to drink German wheat beer on a tab after a long time, and as the name suggests, it's a bar that reflects a lot of German sentiment.
It's a recommended place, so please stop by and enjoy the beer.
This place was absolutely delicious! I had the Mona Lisa panini with German potato salad (????????????), and my husband had the tres queso sandwich with beer cheese soup. We also got two appetizers fried pickles and fried cauliflower. To die for! Their beer selection is huge, and very tasty! We will definitely be going back! ????
Super nice staff and great food.
Only place in town to get a delicious classic German or English brewed beer. Pictured is a great pairing of beer cheese soup, soft Bavarian pretzel & Samuel Smith nut brown & Celebrator double bock. Eugenians would do well to maybe venture outside of their beer bubbles once in a while and maybe sample some of the fantastic offerings here ????
One suggestion to Beer Stein...
Instead of plain old bread with soup, offer a nice soda bread, also maybe use a more sharp cheddar cheese. It's still good, but not as good as Coast Fork in Cottage Grove where you get a bowl, plus soda bread & a beer for around $11 bucks.
Cozy & Uber Friendly! The ambiance was chill af with the crowd being families, casual elderly in kilts, and all the generations before & in-between. Staff was busy, courteous, and genuine friendly. The indoor fireplace was warm (there's also outdoor pits too w/picnic style tables & dogs ????), the food hot & delicious, bar & establishment clean, and the beer cold. Did I mention the coolers filled with all sorts of local & imported beers & ciders?! As in a WHOLE WALL!! Take home a 6-pack of treats that will chill in the cooler while you enjoy your dinner ???? They also have oodles of merch to represent too ????????. There's a pool table & cues, also different nights of the week offer different activities. Definitely a gem ???? location in Eugene OR. Excellent beer selection (both on tap and in the cooler) and great food, especially if you like German. Cozy space with a fireplace and lots of seating, and noce big wrap around bar. If you are taking the beer/cider/wine to go, they discount it, so it's a nice way to try some harder to come by drinks.
Amazing food and experience. The nachos were amazing! The steak and cheesy nachos paired great together, the sandwiches were perfectly made. Definitely coming back.
Best food in town so far! We loved the pretzel bun burgers, schnitzel and beer cheese soup. A fun ambiance with extremely kind employees!
