The coolest Cuban coffee hole in the wall. Empanadas, croquettes and Cuban sandwich were amazing. Do your laundry next door while you enjoying your Cuban coffee.
This place opens at four in the morning. If you have an early morning this is a great place to start the day. The sandwiches are really good and the coffee is hot, really hot. Give yourself some time to let it cool or you will scald your mouth.
Good food and coffee in key west. 13 bucks for coffee and sandwich which is not bad. Will come back again.
I wish I could even articulate how much we love this place. We stayed in Key West for a month and genuinely looked forward to getting our coffee from Edwin every morning. Not even a few days in he had memorized both of our orders and had them ready for us by the time we got to the counter. Not to mention we’re both coffee snobs to the max and this is quite easily, the best coffee in town.
I always stop in here while I am in town. The Cafe con Leche is always good and their sandwiches are great.
Stood at the window for about 10 minutes. To have no one talk to me, as well as a guy walking up 8 minutes in, and was greeted and helped. Still no one looked at me, just 2 feet from the counter.
They serve the best Cuban coffee I've ever had anywhere. One of the best coffees I've ever had in my life. And, it hits that mark every time. My regular morning ritual every day I'm in Key West.
Went every morning for 3 days to get our cortado and a cafe con leche...and their delicious sandwiches. Friendly and patient service and always a line (at least while we were there)
