Wonderful breakfast spot. Everything we tried was amazing. The biscuits are just the right amount of chewy and crumbly and crispy. The cheese grits, those were on another level. They tasted a little sweet and a little savory. This was the perfect choice for a breakfast with the family.
Sunday breakfast, it was about an hour wait but everyone knows that is to be expected. I have heard so much hype about this restaurant and finally decided to check it out. We had mimosas while we waited, they were good! There is plenty of seating while you wait, there is also a game cart, which I thought was really nice. We were seated at the bar and the bartender was excellent. We had the cinnamon roll as a starter and it was great. I got the Bay crab Benedict, and hubby got the Big Farm truck. Everything was good. I wouldn't say that this place is greatly better than most good breakfast places. I've done it once to see what the hype was about, but probably wouldn't go back since there are equally good places near me.
Yesterday my Friend and I visited this beautiful little spot and I can’t say wow enough. We used to love to frequent brunch spots all the time when she and I lived in San Diego together so we searched and found the bee and the biscuit here. First off we were greeted right away, and it was a little busy for a Thursday morning but I can imagine it has to do with the exceptional service. We waited less than five minutes and actually were told we could sit at the bar which we happily obliged. I ordered water and my friend got the late flights which were absolutely gorgeous. The head chef came out with a nice little tasting of whipped goat cheese and like a berry jam which I thought was just a lovely touch and tasted so good I was primed and ready for the food now. I ordered a mushroom melt with a side of fruit and I was not disappointed. I want to take a moment to acknowledge the cohesive team effort among the restaurants staff too it was clear they were busy yet they all seamlessly worked together, and each were adding to the lovely experience which included cleanliness, and very reasonable wait times. I like many others eat with my eyes and when my friend and I received our food right away presentation was outstanding my picture doesn’t do it justice since I had started nibbling right away. The mushrooms were tender in my melt the spinach was vibrant and not bitter, and the side of fruit was so fresh the berries were very flavorful. It’s very obvious to me that the chef and the people here have passion for what they do and care about the experience they provide. Thank you thank you thank you. Lovely experience.
It was an amazing experience with my woman., she suprised me a day before my birthday to enjoy this and I truly did.! The burrito is to die for I cleared the plate!!! & the cinnamon roll omg ????it was so good ???? melt in your mouth greatness in glad we came out to Pungo & enjoyed our time!!

Love this bustling place! Had a chance to visit VB for the holidays and found this breakfast place so we gave it a try. We went during lunch rush so we had to wait for about 30-40 minutes, but it was so worth it!
Food came out quick, we ordered Biscuit Basket which you can choose from Original, Orange or Apple cider. Lieutenant Dan omelet was my favorite, it was fresh and well-seasoned.
Don't forget to try out their Specialty latte, I got salted honey latte, and I loved it.
They also offer latte flights and mimosa flight if you feel like trying something new.
There is an automatic 18% tips added to every check though, so that is the only down side, other than the wait time
I would love to come back here again. We had a great time.
We've been here a few times with different family and friend groups. The food is always excellent as are the drinks. Pay attention though because they tried to charge me extra for a biscuit when I wasn't charged a few weeks prior and it's included on the menu.
Great food, very inviting, amazing service. This place has valet so you don’t have to find parking. The steak and eggs were so good as well as the mimosa flight. They have wheelchair access in the back, however the tables are placed pretty closely together but the host was very accommodating and made room so that we could get to our seats.
I have been wanting to try this place for years and finally got to go! While they do not take reservations, they do have a very efficient system. There is valet parking and then areas to wait and have coffee or a drink while waiting. We were seated right away shortly after it opened on a Saturday. The coffee was delicious. The biscuits were tasty - we had orange and blueberry. The Benedict’s were delicious. Large portions but very tasty! The ambiance is great. The tables are a little small so it felt a bit crowded but it’s super cute. Definitely recommend for a brunch or special occasion. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly! It was a great weekend breakfast catching up with family.
