Was told to hurry up ordering because there were only two busy servers, wanted a steak and was asked if I was sure I wanted to spend $20 on it “because prices are ridiculous”. We went most of our meal without drinks, sauces, and the steak so I had to bother the cashier for help, then I went to tip because I understand what it is to be busy and needed everywhere and as I’m paying with the cashier the server told her to hurry up and cash out the tip so I can’t lock my card and her lose out as if I wasn’t standing in front of her.
The food was good, and it definitely felt homie here. I was surprised by the portions because it looked small. However, the food was filling! I couldn't finish my breakfast and had to takea box home. It's a good place to stop by for a quick visit.
The Thanksgiving Day sandwich was the best I ever tasted. Even better then my own!
Real Turkey, not deli meat. Stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce. I used a fork & knife!
We will be back in a few weeks for another one. If I lived closer it would be weekly I’m sure!
My husband always gets breakfast & loved his meal also!
The second visit wasn’t as good as the first visit.
We as usual we’re not giving the two minute check back because I would have loved some more cranberry sauce & a side of gravy.
The waitress didn’t ask if everything was ok, didn’t check on us at all!
Never asked if we would like anything else, just left the check when we were done.
Not friendly at all!
The women who sat us & took our drink order & set us up with place settings & was super nice & was sorry the tip was left for the waitress that didn’t want to be there!
I was a waitress & we worked for our tips, maybe she didn’t need extra?
So sad that waitresses forget why they are working or who they are working for!
Today I found the best diner. Our server asked questions and asked the chef for details on a dish she wasn’t as familiar with. She was new, but excellent.
I had a Pittsburg cod sandwich, fries and coleslaw. Great sandwich and their fries are awesome. Everything was hot.
I am really picky about coleslaw and ordered it on the side as it came on the sandwich. I didn’t have high hopes but today I had perfect coleslaw. The exact crisp texture, ratio of tart to sweet, liquid to solid and finely chopped cabbage exists. Never change that recipe. I even took a side home for later.
My husband’s burger was big, cooked how he likes and on a Kaiser, not brioche like everyone is doing. He doesn’t like brioche buns so this was a pleasant surprise.
Everyone was friendly and the whole vibe was just positive. The diner itself is pretty dated but it’s comfortable and prices are reasonable. They even have a bar so that was nice. Go check it out.
The waitress was very nice. Was busy today, and it took a while for our order. The coffee tasted burnt. The food was good. Great price!
Every time I go I have a great experience! Food is great and service is great. The one hostess, Rose is so sweet. Even though they were busy I was in and out in 30 minutes. I like coming up here before going to work. Not many places anymore you can get breakfast for under $20
Friendly staff. Older style restaurant/diner. The food is good and plentiful. Surprisingly, they have their liquor license! We had the calamari as a appetizer and OH MY, so yummy!!!! It was prepared in a way I'd never had before. The "Mediterranean Lemonade" was good too!
Food was good waitress was very friendly. I’ve eating there quite a few times. If you like the old family restaurant look and good old down home cooking. Right place to be.
