Best WLM Reviews
My family and I stopped in here for my sons 21st birthday. The food was excellent.
I have traveled to Germany a few times as a K9 trainer, and I enjoyed the perfect cooked german meal. My family and I are descendants of old-world royalty, and it was wonderful to share a meal from our history.
As one of the top food critics in the USA:
The Hawaiian was perfect. The pineapple was tender, not burnt, and the flavor perfectly accented the ham and chicken, which were also moist and juicy..
In fact, all the food was cooked perfectly.
The only downside was serving staff. Staff was brand new and still getting confused about who ordered what.
But perfection takes time. It was totally understandable.
We enjoyed our meal and will be back again.
Everything was absolutely delicious. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the sound of the live folk band playing. We felt like we actually walked into Germany. The server was super friendly and to the time to explain the menu and portions. We had pretzels and beer cheese for appetizers and both were better than we've ever had. We had a party of 5 and each of us ordered a different meal. I wish I had saved room for dessert but we were stuffed! We will definitely be back
German restaurant, you will need to make a reservation. On the list for the husband to visit! The service was great, the atmosphere was lively! Enjoyed the live music and the food was good and the beer was on point! Too full to order the apple strudel ???? I suggest order different items and share, they give you a lot of food!
WOW! Absolutely incredible. Good German food makes me happy and this place is one of the reasons we drive about 4.5 hours to go to the Fort Walton area every year. The staff is always so friendly and I love that the chef has come out to check on us every time we come. The food is the most delicious German food I've had, each bite is like heaven. I wish i lived closer so i could take my time trying everything on the menu. A definite must if you are in the area!!!!
My family and I made a reservation. There were four of us. We ordered the goulash, jaeger snitzel with spaetzle Bavarian potato salad and kaesernnudeln and split it between us. The food was great. There were even leftovers. My advise. If there are only two people, and you want any of the snitzels, order the full breaded version and split between the two of you. The portions are big and you can save yourself some money to invest in good beers.
The best German food in the area!! Don't let the prices deter you, portions are HUGE and you can tell how much love they put into everything!! This is definitely in our top 5 favorite restaurants now and live music was wonderful. This is one of those places that left me happy as a clam. ????❤️
Wonderful very authentic German Bavarian food!!!- I am German descent. As is my husband. We had a wonderful meal and a great server. His name Logan very friendly and he knew the menu quite well, he was able to tell us the daily and nightly specials by memory and even offered to show me a picture of the special on his tablet, which he brought to me a few moments later. The owner Simone is just lovely and came to every table throughout their meal. Ask if everything was fine. : ) We actually conversed a few moments in German, which was good for me to practice again and Simone said "you did great". We ordered kartoffel. (Potato pancakes with sour cream and applesauce) My husband and I each had Schnitzel. I had the Yaeger (mushroom cream gravy) and he had the Krem (horseradish sauce yummy). The side dishes were so good too. We had Potato salad red cabbage sauerkraut and a small salad too. Nonroom.for dessert this trip however we will leave room on our next visit hopefully very soon. Live band on Friday and Saturday nights. Thank.you
I've spent a good amount of time in Germany and this restaurant is authentic. I was there with a friend who's been there more and he said it was very Bavarian.
My friend had a pretzel to start. It was good. The mustard and beer cheese were great.
I ordered whole pork Jaeger Schnitzel. A half is the size you'll likely think of a whole being and whole is like two large schnitzel. I ordered sauerkraut and salad.
Food was great, service was attentive, and the live music made me think I was at Octoberfest. Gotta try this place if it's not already a favorite.
