Pretty disappointing experience. The food was bland and overcooked. the service was ‘so-so’ and slow. We ended up taking up the majority of the food and giving it to someone else.
The grilled oysters and fried shrimp were phenomenal. Great cajun cooking in a family owned and operated restaurant.
A nice restaurant run by a group of family and friends. Good food, good quantity and great vibes..
Excellent meal, had shrimp Po boy and fried mushrooms. Could hardly finish. We had a large group of 30 and the waitress handled us without problems. I highly recommend The Balcony.
Just like you can't judge a book by its cover. You can't judge a restaurant by its reviews alone. I had the seared tuna with steamed vegetables and my wife had the hamburger steak. Both were seasoned perfectly and delicious. The waitress was very attentive.

Not at all what it's hyped up to be. Gumbo tasted like water, no seasoning on anything else. Ordered a medium steak and it was way over cooked with no seasoning. Hopefully we just caught them on a bad day but if this is their norm than you better off going a mile down the road to McDonald's. Waste of 60 dollars
Ordered the seafood platter with a side of potato salad and regular salad. The lettuce was not fresh. I did not get the potato salad instead they sent me a sweet potato that had no flavor in it. The frog leg when I've been into it water came dripping out of it like it would have been halfway Frozen when it was fried the oysters must have been cooked prior to my order because they were soggy and now I have diarrhea and I vomited twice thanks for the food poisoning
