Best WLM Reviews

Artist Kava House Grill pulls up "Tallulah Grill". Two people working seven total tables. We waited a long time to give our order and 45 minutes to get our order. Hardly no chicken in the "Meat Lovers Natchos" The ambiance was very nice but not enough heat. They had servers out w/ flu, we were told. Gave hubby free beer.
Service was seriously lacking. The chips and salsa was awful and that should have been our clue to leave because how can you mess that up so bad? They messed up our table's order multiple times. We watched other patrons leave in frustration and the waitress talked bad about them to us which I thought was unprofessional. My pulled pork sandwich was dry and over cooked. The bun was hard as a rock. Totally gross. We asked for our check as soon as our food arrived because our orders were obviously wrong and all over the map. We just gave up, paid and left. Don't waste your time.
We stopped here after going to Tallulah Gorge to grab a bite before heading back to Atlanta. This was the worst service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I’d say it was a fluke but other reviews seem to mention the same things.
When we got there they said they were running low on menus so they gave us 1 out of the stack of 6 or so to share between 4 of us. Sat down and about 20 minutes later were greeted by the one server in the restaurant serving about 4 or 5 other tables to get our drinks. We should have left then but we were hungry. She came back with drinks and soggy chips and salsa and then took our order. After about 20 minutes I asked for more chips since our food hadn’t come out yet. She brought more and left. 20 more minutes go by and she assures us our food is coming and she saw it in the kitchen. 30 more minutes and the cook/owner comes out and says our order slip had been sitting on the counter and that they are out of chicken, pulled pork, and ribs which was what we had ordered and that she could make us a salad, burger, fish, rice, and/or vegetables, so we reorder because we are hungry and 2 hours away from home. She’s says she’ll give us $100 gift card between us to come back. After she leaves the host and a cook? come out with a burger and ribs! and start eating next to us. Our food comes out about 20 minutes later and it is alright. We also did not have our drinks refilled the entire time even after we asked. After we finish, we ask about the bill being covered and the owner comes back out and says she can either cover this bill or give us the gift card for a later date. I will not be returning.
Quaint casual little place. Was perfect for cooling off after working up an appetite hiking at nearby Tallulah Gorge State Park. Service moved at a slow country pace but was friendly. Burger and fries were great!
Their hours of service are all over the place. We went @ 3:30PM to get some food. The told us to come back for dinner between 4-6PM, so we went to Universal Joint in Clayton instead.
Came back @ 4:45PM.... We were told they were actually going to start at 5:30PM.
Get your hours to be more consistent.
Food was good but took over an hour to come out. The staff was friendly but not on top of their service. Everything took forever! Even paying out bill took over 20 min.
Terrible. The food was such a disappointment. Chips weren’t hard, salsa made me gag, and the pulled pork was sooo dry. Another couple got up and left because the service was awful and the food came out cold.
Great little find! We happened across this little gem on our way from Atlanta to Tennessee. The food was amazing, and the staff was excellent. Highly recommended!
