The service was amazing,friendly, and fast. The food was ok. We had the burger burned on one side. I'm not a fan of the chips. They were served cold ??? Also had fish and fries. Fish was watery and oily. Definitely should have been cooked better . Fries and beer were good.
I would go back for the customer service and beer. Staff was friendly and helpful!
Great service though a bit slow to get food after ordering. It's busy on game days. Food was very good overall. Burger was yummy and well seasoned but a bit dry, the crab cake sandwich was so big and very yummy, the grilled cheese was great, and the turkey sandwich was delicious on sourdough bread. It's a greasy spoon kind of place. Definitely more of a drink and eat kind of place, good drink prices and happy hour options. A bit pricey for just a big meal. I'd return if in the area - especially after a hike! Just be careful on weekends and game days - there will probably be a wait!
I’ve been here many times and it never disappoints. As an Alaskan, this place checks all the boxes. The atmosphere is exactly what you’d want in an Alaskan dining experience. The food is amazing. Everything I have tried is wonderful. This is one place that I make sure to visit EVERY time I’m in Denver. If you’re in the mood for an adult beverage, this place has a very well thought out selection. Try the Duck Fart!

For a picky eater (I don’t eat red meat nor pork)
This place had fresh pescatarian/vegetarian options, which was surprising to me.
Not only the diversity in their menu but how tasty it is, 100% recommended.
Also greatly unique drinks. I truly enjoyed the duck fart and their blackberry margaritas.
They have non alcoholic DELICIOUS wine. So excited. Been coming here for years and their burgers are our fav and honestly having a great vibe isn’t just the food it totally depends on the person you’re basically having dinner “with” — Akyra is amazing every time we come. Highly recommend.
My husband loves this place! The food is fabulous, the service is attentive, and the environment has great energy yet cozy and clean. The specials are ALWAYS delicious! No wonder there is always a wait but don’t worry, it moves pretty quick!
I stopped here for lunch and had the AK vacay burger. I have to say the beef mix used for the burger was delicious. The cream cheese with pineapple, candied bacon, and jalapeños had a well balanced flavor profile that made this burger even better. The fries are delicious and the Rouge River brewing company Stout on tap was fantastic. Overall, this is a great place to stop if you're craving a good burger and fries.
This place won me over on the first bite! The food and service was incredible! I highly recommend the Denali Jr, Kodiak, and Knick Blackberry Burgers. Honestly, keep coming back to try everything (that’s what I’ll be doing)! There could be a wait, but that’s because it’s PHENOMENAL. Definitely worth any wait.
