Than Huu makes an excellent Bahn Mi. The baguette is perfect, the ingredients are simple and fresh and there are basically two items on the menu. Bahn Mi and soup; the do have a drink and tea menu as well. The service is very kind, friendly and gracious. Than Huu does have little stools and tables in the middle of an asian bazaar in Chinatown.
Stumbled upon this Chinatown restaurant by accident. No sit down, it's a hole in the wall with fast and friendly service. Took my order over the phone. Cash only!!!! Great place to get chicken noodle soup for under $10. Good portion, good broth. Noodles a little too soft for my preference, but overall, helped me get through a cold. Street parking or public parking in the back for $3/hr.
I stop here anytime I'm around the area. I love the banh mi, noodle soups, the boba is good and one of the places to get che ba mau which is soo good! The staff are so kind!!
I'm giving a 5 star because I know this place has the best and delicious banh mi sandwiches in the Chinatown district. They bake the bread and they have a really delicious pastry sauce they put on the sandwiches. You wont be disappointed at all!!!
We got some boba here during our visit to LA and the lady who made our drinks was so sweet. She gave us bags to port our drinks around since it was so cold out and the drinks themselves were really good and not expensive at all. I highly recommend stopping at this place if you're in the area.
it's a bit tricky to find, go up the stairs and turn left.
they don't have any vegetarian options on the menu (yet) but if you ask for "no meat" they will make you a banh mi without it!
Very delicious smoothie
I've always said the place looks sketchy but the food is THE BEST. been coming here for YEARS (since I was maybe 5, I'm almost 25 now). I remember never being able to choose between the noodles or Banh mi ????
