Best WLM Reviews
As far as Thai food goes this was meh. Seemed fresh but was lacking in flavor. 2 servers confused my drinks and the atmosphere felt more like an old Mexican restaurant. I might order to go from there to try the food again.
We decided to have lunch here after spending the morning at Navarre Beach. Parking lot is small but we didn't have any issues finding a spot. Only one other table was seated, but maybe it wasn't busy because it was after 2pm.
We ordered the fish cakes appetizer, and they were delicious. These typically have a "squeaky" texture and a little heat, so we knew what to expect. The accompanying sauce was delicious even if it was a funny pink color.
For entrees we ordered Glass Noodle Salad and Pineapple Fried Rice. The salad was delicious - served a little warm with chicken and shrimp mixed in. Perfect option for a hot day. The fried rice was a little too sweet for our tastes and didn't have much pineapple. The pieces that were in there appeared to be canned not fresh. We probably would not order this again. We were tempted to try their sushi and the seafood specials, but that will have to wait until our next visit. Instead we saved room for dessert and had the Thai custard with sweet rice. I usually make this dish at home and have never had it with peach jam. I was very surprised as how good it tasted with this addition. We will definitely have that again!
Decor suits the Thai style but wished it wasn't so dark.
Overall a good option that's close to the pier and offers authentic Thai cuisine.
We love this place, and eat here all the time. Sometimes the food is inconsistent, but never bad. That being said, if the restaurant is reading this, please start lining your togo boxes with foil or parchment, or upgrade to another container. My noodles today burnt through the styrofoam, and even the box underneath started to melt as well. Burnt styrofoam isn't exactly healthy to eat. I am too humble to come ask for y'all to make another when it's Friday night and probably busy.
Excellent Thai food! This place exceeded my expectations.
The ambiance was very nice inside and the restaurant was very clean and well decorated.
The Tiger sushi roll was beautiful and was one of the best tasting rolls we've ever had.
The fried spring rolls were good but not the best.
We had the red and green curries. I loved them and are in my top 3 fav's but my wife didn't like that they were so soupy. The rice portion to curry was also a bit off and it couldn't used more rice. Portions were also good.
Lastly the Thai iced coffee was delicious and had a great presentation.
Staff was very friendly and attentive.
So happy to have a great Thai place in Navarre and highly recommend!
My brother's wife and my brother took me. This place is Excellent!! She guided me to new Thai experiences (I have little, but willing to learn since I have a large International repertoire). I had the ginger, don't remember the rest of the name.
My dining experience here was excellent. ???? The decor is nice and inviting. ????Music volume was at a good level. Not too loud or soft. Very relaxing. The food was great!! ???????????? very clean flavors. Everything was fresh and the food presentation was phenomenal. They definitely focus on presenting the food in a visually pleasing manner. Loved this place. ???? This will become a regular spot for me to dine at. ????????????
This was my first time dining in and we were a party of 3. There was only one other table being served. Tom (I think that’s his name?) came to take our order, which he didn’t write down, and we never saw him again. He did not bring out our food, he did not check how the food was or ask us if we’d like refills on our drinks. Our drinks were 2 waters and a tea. The tea was in a red cup and the waters were in a clear cup. So even though he didn’t write down our order, there was no reason why he charged us for “two iced teas” on the ticket. I was also charged for an order of egg rolls even though I did not order it. When they got put on the table, we ate them because we thought this is something they served until the food is out. When I brought this to his attention, he said “well you should’ve said something before you ate it”, but again this was my first time dining in so I did not know they randomly would put something I didn’t order on the table just so they can charge me for it. And even though they brought the entree out before the sushi, it was cold. There was no apology from the owner (Tom) for over charging us for items we didn’t order.
Edit to reply to this nonsense:
-there was only 3 of us, actually, so yeah it was 1+1+1 + the 4 I didn’t ask for
-Tom conveniently heard an order of spring rolls because he didn’t write the order down. If he had, he would’ve known I’m right and you all could then stop putting blame on the customer. No, not several people heard me say spring rolls because besides Tom, there was only one other girl running around the restaurant trying to do everything.
-as I said several times, because it was our first time dining in, there was no way for me to know that’s not standard practice given we were served the individual spring rolls that I also didn’t ask for.
-no, I have no idea how my food still got to me cold. I have no reason to lie. I see now that several people have had similar experiences at this restaurant, and I’m trying to warn others that the food quality and customer service is trash.
-how is it likely there’s no error on your end when you just said no one wrote down the order? The sushi order was not complicated. We ordered rolls exactly the way they were off the menu- no modifications were made.
-I did not request anyone by any title. I asked the girl who was walking around to explain the extra change and she said “well, I didn’t take your order so i don’t know but let me get him for you”.
-I assumed this man was the owner because he was just doing whatever he wanted, didn’t look like he was wearing a uniform or anything and did not give any kind of apology for the hassle or not checking up on us at all during the visit.
Preface : this place is great.
I'm writing this as I sit and wait for my food. I got a #7 special, pad Thai with chicken, spring rolls, and a Thai tea at 12:19. It's August of 2020. There's a plastic partition separating the cashier and customers. The cooks are wearing face shields. This place seems very clean, most of the kitchen is visible. Not just clean here and there, the benches and countertop appear freshly cleaned. Kitchen seems orderly.
I didn't have a chance to use the bathroom which I'm aware is a big factor. If I go again, I will be sure to check it out. I'm pretty sure I will come again though. The atmosphere looks like whoever runs this place put some time into. There are cultural decorations and designs everywhere. The only thing left to do is to rate the food.
I got my food about 25 minutes later. Judging from the quality of the food this is right around what I would expect, no fault to the establishment in waiting more time for quality. Not unreasonable because there were people dining in as well.
The Pad Thai was great although I usually like it a little spicy, and it wasn't spicy at all. I didn't ask for spicy, so there you go.
The Special 7 three flavor shrimp I really liked. It had bell peppers, broccoli, snap peas, cabbage, baby corn, mushrooms, onion, pineapple, suspended in a tangy sauce, served with white rice. It was sweet and tangy.
The spring rolls were great and the sauce with them is also good.
