Pad thai was incredible...swung more soy saucy than peanut. And the noodles were delicious. Coconut shrimp was right on the money. Chopped beef wasnt great. Wasn't bad...just not worth getting. And the pineapple smoothy was dee-lish-us.
Oh and the Thai and shrimp trucks are owned by same people so you can order both menus from one truck!
2019- I am a little disappointed. The food had no flavor this time around and the papaya salad tasted like nothing. I was hoping to get the same kind of food three years ago, but unfortunately the food quality is not good.
2016- I absolutely loved this place!! We stayed in Honolulu and the food there was not great. On our way to Kualoa Ranch, we stopped at this food truck and the food was awesome! Most Thai places when you ask for 10 level of spiciness, it isn't spicy at all, but this place exceeded our expectations. The food was very spicy and delicious to my husband and my liking. We even came back here a second day, even though it's further from Honolulu. This place was well worth the drive. The owners were very very friendly. The food portion was very good! If I ever come back to Honolulu, I am heading here again!!
I love their springs rolls. We always order at least 2 orders of spring rolls at time. Hot and fresh! I also like to get the chicken pad thai. Friendly service. Cash only.
The shrimp Pad Thai and spring rolls are to die for here! The shrimp portions were enormous and sooo good. I definitely could not finish a whole entree by myself. If you have room to order a coconut I would def recommend doing so. The coco water was so refreshing and the owner cut the coconut up once we finished the water. It was honestly the best fresh coconut I’ve ever had, the texture was buttery and literally melted in my mouth. This is a cash only place but the convenient store next door has an ATM. Such a random food truck find while driving around the island and very worth the stop.
One word - Authentic! On my way back from the ranch I stopped here to explore the food trucks parked off the road. I was kindly greeted by the Thai woman working the food truck and I chose a Chicken Pad Thai meal with medium hot. This Thai food was outstanding and tasted very fresh. They give you sooo much food and offer a variety of drinks as well. A nice relaxing place on the picknic tables surrounded by the massive Hawaiian mountains. A very serine zen like spot to stop and eat. Highly recommend stopping here for the Thai food, not too pricey either.
Some of the best Thai food I've had on island, and from a food truck! Tried the red curry medium spice. The broth was savory and flavorful, and also packed a nice kick. Plenty of chicken and veggies to complement the dish.
Nice place to have good Thai food. Food was good and the location next to the food truck is really amazing view. Ordered food and sat in our car and we enjoyed the food watching the lake and mountains.
Great service, delicious food, and at a fair price ???????? highly recommend. I've tried all the plates. They do not disappoint!!
