Great Thai restaurant on fourth Street in St. Petersburg. The food was super tasty and authentic. They have a large menu with several selections. Service was prompt and attentive. Would definitely eat here again.
Thai-Am has quickly become me and my husband’s favorite restaurant. Not only is the food amazing, but the presentation and service they provide is top notch. The Panang curry, Pad Thai and spring rolls are usually our go to, but everything else we have tried is delicious also. You never have to wait for food, and the staff is so kind and attentive. The price for what you get is a steal. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Thank you Thai-Am for always giving us a great experience!!
Just moved to the area and thought we’d check this place out. Thai Am has a very busy take out business. If the take out order popularity was so good, you’d think the food is really great, right? We were disappointed. Our order of shrimp pad Thai was too soupy and very sweet. The spicy Thai chicken was served with flaming whiskey. It was impressive but the dish was really soaked with too much whiskey and it wasn’t that spicy. The rice that came with the dishes wasn’t enough. By the time our server asked if we wanted more, we were pretty much finished.
I’d give this place another shot. Portion sizes were good. Maybe the chef was having a bad night with the sauces.
ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! The most delicious Thai food we have ever had! Highly recommend eating here, everything we had was delicious. Highly recommend the three way duck and the fire chicken. ???? Our server was so lovely, so friendly and welcoming and gave lots of recommendations! We will definitely be back. Thankyou so much! ????
EXCELLENT Authentic Thai Food! Family owned and operated. This restaurant has been serving the Absolute Best Thai Food in the area for YEARS! They are Fantastic for lunch or dinner. Note lunch photos are just as nice as dinner experience. This is Not Fast Food, this is for lunch when you have a hour, not minutes. It's not that they are slow, it's because everything is cooked to order. The food and experience the family prepares is AMAZING!
Stopped in for lunch and was absolutely delighted with the service and the food. Absolutely delicious at a modest price. This will be a definite regular dining spot for me????
Thai am has been a staple in my life since my senior year of high school circa 2001. We ha e date night here at least once a month. Their food is authentic, traditional, and made with community local luv! Thanks for always helping me taste and relive those flavors with home cooking when I want to relive my month in SE Asia! The Panang Curry was pretty tasty and my friends enjoyed the duck curry. Nice menu selections, would return to try several other dishes.
