Choice brisket found here! Got the brisket sandwich with fried okra, pickles & onions on the side. Sandwich was delicious! The BBQ sauce is very good also, not overly sweet just right to complement the meat. Inside dining area was well lit, clean, and nicely decorated. Service was good. Very much enjoyed dinning here.
Everybody needs checked our orders even when you go to pick them up and you put your order and they said yes that’s what you get but it’s not what you get when you get home requested no bread no onions, extra pickles. Got everything I didn’t want and nothing of what I asked for. cannot stand that the onions are in the same container. I mean, the sliced briskets are two chunks of meat, which is not that appealing . Bread in the trash along with the onions. What a waste for some who like it. When I’m spending $20 on a lunch and it’s easy as that is sad
I love Texlahoma and we order delivery on a regular basis with no issues. But today when we ordered, I opened the potato salad container and it looks like someone ate out of it already so I’m scared to eat it. This is the first time I’ve ever received potato salad this way. Disappointing to say the least.
Food is decent but they get every to-go order wrong. Portions are inconsistent. Staff act like they’re annoyed you’re there.
I got a two meat FAMILY dinner. I’m not sure how many people they think is in an average family but I got two ribs, three slices of brisket and one cup each of beans. This FAMILY dinner is barely enough for one person.
Let's just start upon entry. When I see a sign to claim the name Texas bbq we all have certain expectations right away. If you have eaten Texas bbq from the Lockart area, Austin and surrounding areas an beyond. The first thing you can't help is the smell of smoke. That aroma makes you gravitate towards it. There was no smoke smell. That was flag one for me, I place an order for moist brisket, pork belly, jalapeno cheddar sausage, Mac in cheese, and green beans. Ok let's just jump in. Let's start with the sausage ????. This seemed store bought and lacked that homemade smoke sausage flavor. The pork belly was dry but the flavor wasn't terrible. Again no smoke flavor... the brisket seemed like it had been sitting in grease for hours. No smoke flavor... the sides seemed store bought.. potatoe salad was like whipped mashed potatoes. This was not Texas bbq at all...
Update management reached out to me we had a great conversation they were appreciative that I let him know that I didn't have a very good experience and is completely made up for it I really appreciate them taking the time to talk to me personally and resolving the issue so give them a try
Did not taste like barbecue. Doc found a dirty spoon and with all the clean spoons. And the kid told me to just go grab another one out there. Sorry, if one spoons dirty, they're all dirty. Read service, terrible second time. This has happened last time for me.
First time eating here. Faith was so kind and professional. I got the Special. Pull Pork Sandwich and okra. $10.00 With the hot sauce. Very tasty. Definitely will return. Thanks again. Blessings Always????
