Started with a quick beer and a bag of peanuts. The peanuts are great if you are hungry and do not want to wait on an appetizer. Finished with a 16 oz ribeye. My steak was undercooked and on the tough side. The service is consistently good at any Texas Roadhouse I have been to. The food is a good value. Atmosphere wise, I wish the lights were dimmer in the bar area where I dined.
The food is worse and worse every time we come here. We are usually only here about 3 times a year but it's worse each time. The server was great
Very impressed with the service. We had a group of around 25. Had called ahead and gave all the orders. As we sat down drinks started coming. My salad was already on the table. With in 5 minutes of being seated food was being delivered. Only a couple small mistakes. Food was delicious as always. Great job!
Went there for sons graduation and was told 30 mins waited hour and half just to be seated... then another hour and half before food came out. Went for lunch ended up having supper.. ridiculous. Waitress was nice.. not her fault at all. Restaurant was filthy. One of our party had to leave because it took so long.
We had lunch today and we're very disappointed, it took 40 minutes to get our meals. Both meals were room temperature and mine was ordered medium and came well done. We had always loved this place but this is the second time in a row, last time my ribs were burnt on the bottom side and very very dry. It's frustrating when the price goes up and the quality is less!!!! We should have eaten at the Mexican restaurant and next time in Athens we will
I come to Athens every 6 months. The last two times I order medium steak and it comes out rare so I send it back. I literally eat all my sides before my steak comes back cooked correctly. Would love to take a bite of steak and side at the same time but I guess it’s not possible here. When I come back 6 months from now I’m sending my whole meal back so I can enjoy everything together.
Had 8oz sirloin with shrimp. Side salad with fries and a "cactus flower" which is in fact a bloomin onion. All were very good. Steak was cooked medium rare, perfectly as requested.
Service was friendly and attentive. Paying at the table with their mobile system makes that part easy and quick.
Missing one star for noisy atmosphere. I don't dig all the loud birthday shout-outs but you do you.
We live in Virginia and go to Texas Roadhouse all the time. So when we came to Athens to visit my parents we all went to Texas Roadhouse. We all enjoyed our meals. Everything was great. The servers were spot on. My parents had never eaten here. Know they will be back. So will we the next time we are in town.
