OMG. This was good. Staff member Taylor- outstanding. This was a huge half rack of ribs. The “side” salad was an entree anywhere else. Try the chili soup. I ate it with my fork it was so thick. Spiced just right.
Went Friday the 10th of May for my birthday which is May 11 every time is always delicious we have been going to Texas Roadhouse for a long long time since Florida. We have been going to Roanoke since we moved to Virginia 2 years ago. We had a terrible dinner on the 10th of May. First they brought out our salads appetizer and dinner all at once, we didn't even eat our sales because we like to eat it first. Asked waitress way they brought food out all together she said I can put your prime rib back under heating lamp. Told her no didn't want our dinner sitting up there. Then there was some brown looking gravy on our prime rib ask her why it was on there She said it was Azu gravy it was thick and sticky tasted it don't know what it was Waitress sent over manager who said that she could wash it off. But that's the way it comes all the time. I said no we eat here all the time, and there is nothing on top of our prime rib and I Asked for no azo sauce on the side, asked for Horse radish sauce on side what ever was on it made us sick to our stomach for 3 days. Could not believe Manger lady said she could wash it off. Terrible experience Terrible birthday dinner. She should not have charged us it's not how prime rib comes there and all food being served at once. Very disappointed . Oh and our dinner rolls We're burnt
Absolutely FILTHY kitchen. Food all over the floor. Constantly have wet dangerous floors and management refuses to buy mats, making it dangerous and unsanitary.
The tea machine was broken and burned several employees, sending one woman to the hospital. This was still not fixed up to a month after the accident.
The racks where glasses are washed were completely covered in mold.
The owner and management refuse to address these issues. When issues were brought up employees were told "Sorry we're not perfect like other restaurants" and that "they think they're too good to work here".
Know that when you eat here, you are giving your money to people with zero passion for food service. On nights where 1000s of dollars In food were comped and multiple tables walked out because food took over and hour, management did not care or do anything to try to correct or fix the problem.
Employees and guests are just another drop on their 2.94 billion dollar company.
I had an exceptional dining experience at Texas Roadhouse in Roanoke. Kaylee, our server, went above and beyond, showcasing exceptional professionalism and courtesy throughout our meal. The ribeye steak cooked to a perfect medium temperature was succulent and flavorful, while the herb chicken was a delightful addition to the meal. The Jamaican Cowboy with a Patron kicker was a fantastic drink choice, perfectly complementing the delicious food. Kudos to the staff and Kaylee for making our visit memorable with their top-notch service and fantastic food!
Absolutely terrible experience. Met the owner- he should not be running a restaurant. Food took an hour, when it came, it was cold, burnt and after the manager said she was going to take the burnt food off the check, she disappeared. Made me late for my job and I had to track the manager down just to pay to leave because I was being ignored after asking 3 people for the manager. I won’t be back.
Today i ordered a sirloin steak cooked medium rare and it was like biting on a beef jerky. It was too hard.
Bread, potato skins, and mashed potatoes, as well as side salad were ok.
However, the iRibeye steak cooked medium was delicious.
Very friendly staff. Excellent service. I got the 6oz steak, baked sweet potato, and broccoli with carrots and it was absolutely delicious and I'm a picky eater. My mother also got the 6oz steak but her sides were steak fries and house salad. Her steak was also delicious as well as the salad but the fries were hard and slightly burnt. The restaurant made up for it though. Would definitely eat there again. Highly recommend.
I understand thus is lond but its worth the read because this place DERSERVES EVERY great word it has gotten. To start off with why we visited Texas Roadhouse 100 Bradley Drive NW,
Christiansburg, VA 24073 was for celebration of my son's 14th birthday.
The restaurant is actually a hour and a half from our home but we were going to need to Christmas shop and he picked this restaurant he wanted to go to. His Nannie takes all grandchildren every year for B Day dinners instead of gifts. So anything anywhere which they love more than gifts. He ordered a rare 20 Oz NY strip special cut for the day, loaded mash potatoes, and mushrooms. The steak was exactly and perfectly what was ordered and the sides were as well. Of course 20 Oz was a huge steak for him so he actually only ate maybe 4 Oz because the sides with rolls filled him up. The grandparents only ate salads, I ordered the loaded potato skins, and the wife had a starter grilled shrimp and they all were delicious. The waitress was extremely kind and checked on us several times thoughoyt even tho the restaurant was extremely busy. The manager Frannie made her way to our table to ask how things were and was above and beyond filled with kindness and really seemed to care about her customers and restaurant. She made us aware that the potato skins also came with jalapeños if ordered. I told her I wish I knew because I only ate three and was letting him take them home to eat on the next two days. She actually went and brought a small container to him to take home. The only downside to this night was after shopping for two days and a long trip back home he forgot and left his steak and potato skins on the couch overnight and my wife had to throw them away the next morning. He had gotten so upset because he was looking forward to them that he had gotten tears ( very understandable ). So the second pic of the steak is what was actually brought home and thrown away but he still said it was the best steak ever. Will DEFINITELY visit again.
