Ordered 2 rare new Yorks to go and they're litterally medium and no it's not from sitting in the container it's from leaving them on the grill way to long you can tell just from poking it with your finger that these steaks were closer to medium+ 60 bucks and they managed to over cook the easiest temp to make I have no idea how... my best friend and i worked at the pleasant hills location and pushed out 65 plates every half hour with maybe 2 or 3 un happy customers all night but you have 1 job how do you mess up a rare steak seriously.. out of all the locations Monroeville has got to be the most careless every time.
My server, Selena was amazing. I would highly recommend her the food. Everything was hot and fresh. There was really great teamwork taking place at this location. I have been to a lot of Texas road houses in the state ofPA and outside of the state. This was by far one of my best experiences I’m not located close to the Monroeville Location, but would definitely return back more frequently if I can have Selena as my server every single time. She was very attentive. She was patient with the elderly. She was patient kind and understanding to Customers who did not speak English as a first language. She did her job so effortlessly.
We tried rib eye steak and road kill. Both of them were good. Prices are reasonable. I think their steak is better than longhorn steakhouse’s steaks. The service was a bit slow. Before going there I joined the waitlist and but when I get there they asked from me to wait 10 mins more even the expected time was over. Anyway, I recommend this place to everyone.
Went with some friends for my birthday. Waitress was phenomenal. I forget her name. She was very attentive and her silent service was top notch. We barely had to ask for anything because she was always one step ahead of the game. Food came out fairly quickly and was delicious. The free bread is always a hit with the butter they provide. I had the ribeye with ribs combo and seasoned rice w/ the sweet corn. Ribs was a little salty for me but still very good. Steak was perfect and the onions still had a crunch which I loved. My fiance had the salmon with veggies and loaded mash potatoes. He ate it all which is rare because he usually has leftovers to take home. Cost was about $20-30 a person which was reasonable in my opinion. The jalenpeno Rattlesnack Bites appetizer is a must if you like a little spice. They shouted me out for my birthday and gave me vanilla icecream with chocolate drizzle. Very creamy and delicious. Can't wait to go back on the next occasion!
We were given a table in the bar area. The bartender was our server which did not go over well. She spent way too much time on her phone and not checking on her customers. The appetizer came out after the salad and the soup which is kind of backwards. The salad was cold like it was sitting in the refrigerator and just pulled out. The fried onions were cold and not really fried just cooked for a couple of minutes. The ribs were cold and overcooked for sure. The filet was cooked correctly and I did enjoy the steak. Don't think I will be back anytime soon.
I LOVE the “Roadhouse”!!!! It starts with those hot delicious dinner rolls and continues on up from there. They have cinnamon butter!!! Are we in heaven?? If you think that is fabulous, you need to try it on your sweet potato.
Good food, love the warm bread and cinnamon butter.
Service was great.
I ordered online and did pick up. The food was great, and the portions were big. The only downside is when placing the order online it was a mandatory tip of what they chose. I was not able to adjust it. And I don’t think that is right. I won’t be ordering online anymore for that reason.
