The host seated us quickly and our server, Trevor was great! He made recommendations and checked on us often. The food was delicious and I was extremely pleased with the overall experience of dining here. I had the salmon and my husband had an 18oz ribeye which was all cooked to perfection.
Service is good. Steak is good. Bread is good. 3 stars for the portion of this salad, like $5 for 10 pieces of lettuce come on now. I’m not used to this level of stinginess from TR.
This is pretty much my go to place when I visit Baton Rouge. The food is always cooked well. Ribs were okay but unevenly cooked, as the edges were very dry. Steaks were amazing. Kids meals were great, they loved their food. The biggest issue was cleanliness. Our table and booth had to be cleaned before we could sit down, so we had to stand in a very crowded area on top of other people as they were trying to enjoy their meal. Another table informed us of all the food on the floor under our table to prevent us from getting it stuck to our shoes. The plates came out very greasy. Unacceptable, especially when you are eating a salad. I would recommend bringing your own silverware. I will give them a pass today as they are usually on point, but pray my next visit is much better.
I ordered rolls for a dinner party, and while another Texas Roadhouse would only let me order 3 dozen. This one allowed me to order 8 dozen, which is what I needed. The guy that took my order was very nice and git my order in quickly. Pick was very easy and fast.
Food is always great. Service is always good. My only complaint is that they need a second location. This place is ALWAYS packed from the minute they open the doors!
The bartenders were nice and service was good. I ordered an 8 oz New York strip and as soon as it came out on my plate I noticed it was low quality. It had the most fat and gristle I have ever had in my life. If I had guess it was about 40% gristle and fat.
The Cooks need to take more pride in selecting meats especially when people are paying more.
Hoping to come back and edit to add how the food was.. if we even get to dine here today, but we’ve been here for almost an hour waiting to be seated. Was told there was about 20-30 min wait when we walked in, and we’ve sat here longer. Watched some young ladies come in who knew the hostess and they got seated before us even though they came in after us. They sat in the waiting area bragging about how they won’t have to wait behind everyone because their friend works here. Definitely a kick in the teeth to my four kids who are sitting here just wanting to eat something for dinner. So as far as the service from the hostess goes, very negative experience. Hoping we get to eat and have a better experience with the server and food.
It's always a problem when I come here. This time. I was told I had a 5-15 minute wait. Ended up being 45 minutes. She said I should check in when I come in after calling and being placed on the wait list. Over never had to check in. My steak was under cooked then sent back to be. Over cooked. I think those is my last trip.
