I had my older GMC at a shop on Staples and was told it needed a new alternator and other electrical repairs as yet undetermined. The repair quote just for the alternator was over $700. I was sick to hear this. Because of the cost I decided to take it to Texas Battery for a second opinion. I explained that the other shop told me the alternator needed to be replaced and that it needed other repairs. Mario checked it and the alternator is working just fine. It was an entirely different electrical problem and he fixed it. The repair bill was $98. I can give my highest recommendation for Mario and Texas Battery, an honest repair shop.
Took my newest service vehicle to have an auxiliary battery bank installed. Being a business owner I needed the work completed quickly. They had that vehicle ready when promised. Been doing business with them for years and have never been disappointed. Great Job!

I drove my parents to Corpus from Houston in their 2012 Impala to visit family there, well when we were leaving back to Houston the battery light went on. I immediately knew there was a problem with the charging system so I knew we couldn't make it to Houston on a battery that is not charging. I suspected the alternator, took it to theses guys and sure enough that's what it was. Normally I would tackle this job myself but all my tools are in Houston so I was at the mercy of having someone else change it. Well theses guys did, they had to order it so we ended up having to stay an extra day but all in all I like the service. This happened around Oct. 15' and the car is running well to this day
