Brock is awesome! Very honest and kind, he helped me as much as possible with my car in a time of high stress. Highly recommend him & his services!

I was very pleased with the service and communication with Brock on a recent repair on my daughter’s car. She is a student at UT and we have no experience with auto repair businesses in the Austin area. Thankfully, I received a recommendation to contact Tex Tune Auto.

Brock was able to get me a legitimate quote in minutes and scheduled the repair on my first phone call.

Everything was completed in the same day that I had the vehicle dropped off.

Apart from being an outstanding mechanic, Broc is one of the most honest and trustworthy people ive ever met. His positivity is contagious. My car needed so so much work!! The kind of car not worth putting more money into if you know what I mean.

He called me with devastating news. But being the great guy he is, he wrote up everything wrong so I could take it to my dealer. Shared detailed photos with proof of everything.

I have found my new mechanic. Very reasonable priced, knowledgeable, friendly and courteous service. I had an alternator go out on my Camry. I checked with local parts stores and the cost ranged from 360-600 for the alternator. Called and spoke with Brock and he got me a remanufactured OEM Denso at a lower cost than I could even get a aftermarket 3rd party not as great quality one! Had it towed on Monday afternoon, it was ready early Tuesday morning. Also, told me I could run my battery for awhile, not not to wait to long to change that out. With the money he saved me, I went out and replaced my old diehard and got a newer AGM style battery! Thank you Brock for your honesty and friendly prompt service. You are now my go to guy for all car repairs moving forward.

Tex Tune automotive provided me with an exceptional experience when repairing my Acura MDX power steering system. Brock swiftly addressed the issue, completing the repair with outstanding workmanship. The fair pricing and the friendly demeanor of Brock Huffman, whom I easily came to trust, made the entire process even more satisfying. Highly recommended!

Also he cleaned up my engine block in the process which looked pristine when I popped the hood about a month later.

I had a fantastic experience with Tex Tune Automotive! The starter on my VW Vanagon went out, and I was having a very difficult time getting any mechanics to even take a look at it. I was turned away by 4 different shops, as not many people are familiar with the unique characteristics of older Volkswagens. Luckily, the tow truck company I was using suggested I give Brock at Tex Tune a call. He said Brock is the most knowledgeable Volkswagen mechanic he knows. He wasn't kidding!

Brock was able to get the starter replaced with no problems. He went above and beyond by tracking down and fixing some small coolant and fuel leaks he found while working on the starter. He gave me a very fair price for the work, and I'm really impressed with his thoroughness. Thanks Brock; you're a lifesaver!

I came in because I didn’t pass inspection because I backed into a parked car and my tail light and bumper became a little loose.

The owner mentioned he isn’t a body shop owner, he is a mechanic so he won’t be able to fix my bumper but could take a look at the tail light. I didn’t expect my car to be ready until end of day but 2 hours after dropping my car off, I received a text saying my car was ready. I swung by and saw not only was he able to secure my tail light but he was able to pop back in my bumper.

For someone who is “just a mechanic”, 10/10.
