Best WLM Reviews

the sushi place is the best restaurant in the ATL airport but if you’re in more of a hurry or don’t like seafood, this is your best bet. it’s quietly tucked away on the third floor beside buffalo wild wings.
Some of the worst service I've ever experienced.
We had a 3 hour layover and wanted to get food and drinks. We love breweries and the food sounded good so we figured this would be a good go. We were very wrong.
We sat down at the bar and there was only 1 other couple in the restaurant. The bartender barely greeted us and was very dismissive. When we asked about the seasonal rotation and what kind of beers some of the ones we were weren't told anything, just dismissed. Everything the bartender said was condescending and rude.
We really wanted to try the food and beers but I refused to be treated so poorly when all we did was sit down and say hi, then ask about the seasonal rotations.
There are so many other places to eat and drink at the Atlanta airport. Avoid Terrapin.
On a business trip going through Atlanta Airport, and decided to stop in at Terrapin Taphouse in Concourse D. When I asked what was good on the menu, he stated “I don’t know, I don’t eat here”. Great first impression. Then as I was finalizing an important email while enjoying a beer, and the waiter asks me “is there anything else I can get you since you are taking up my table.” I told him I was finishing my beer and then leaving. He ran my credit card and I signed the receipt. Within seconds of signing, he comes back to my table and says “should I place another order for you since you are still taking up my table?” Terrapin Beer Company should be ashamed of this kind of horrible customer service. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
If Buffalo Wild Wings is slammed next door and you’re just looking for a quick sandwich and a drink, it’ll do. A little bit dirty around the bar, but Sucandra (bartender) was the only employee I saw (don’t get me wrong, she was very polite and did well overall). Ordered the Turkey Ruben and a Tarrapin pale ale. Wasn’t anything to write home about, but not bad. Kind of a quieter spot if you’re waiting on a flight and just looking for something simple and quick.
I don't normally give a airport restaurant a good review. Chicken Caesar was really good. Fresh chicken, good dressing, and a hard boiled egg cut up. Service and beer selection was also good. Super small menu, but a nice out of the way place in the D concourse
I came here with my wife, who does not drink, intending to try a couple beers and sit at the bar together. The bartender told us that usually, only people who are purchasing food or liquor are allowed to sit at the bar. Gave us a spiel about how people were sitting at the bar too long not buying anything, or something like that. There were also additional seats open at the bar. I've never been told this policy at any bar or taproom as a paying customer with a family member. But the bartender said "it's the holidays, so I'll let it slide."
It made my wife feel so unwelcome/uncomfortable that she left to walk around the concourse, and I cashed out after one beer. I would have liked to try more, but after this establishment made me stressed and my family feel uncomfortable, that was it. In my opinion, this is not how you run a business.
The beer was decent, hence the one star.
In the same terminal, I stopped at Mustard Seed BBQ for a second drink, and the bartender there simply asked my wife, "You good for now, dear?" Didn't boot her from the bar for her not ordering anything, and we were in, out, and on our way with wonderful service.
I ordered the Turkey sandwich and chose mac and cheese for the side. It was the best sandwich I have gotten at an airport and the best mac and cheese I have gotten in a long time. The portion was huge for a side! Hidden gem at ATL Airport. Huge pour of an on tap drink as well! Reasonably priced for airport food!
Quiet escape from the buzz with tvs at the bar and friendly service.
Food and beer is absurdly priced though, which is expected at the airport. 12$ beer and 15/17$ entrees. The ceasar salad we had was quite small as was the chicken portion we paid extra for.
And I dropped a star because they served plastic utensils. We didn't eat to-go. I don't want to eat off of plastic when I'm sitting down at a bar or restaurant, especially when meals are so expensive
