Best WLM Reviews
Service was great. No complaint what so ever with service at all! Very cute building with a date night atmosphere. For Gluten or Dairy allergy people they have tons of options and are good at making changes.
Why the 3-start review though.... The food is just ok. Many of the dishes had a "same" flavor with some just drenched in sauce.
Honestly, they had a dressing that came with the pork belly... That dressing was probably the best thing. It made some of the dishes ok to eat. Broke up the flavor of salty soy.
The chicken dish had a pressed chicken texture and taste. Noodles were just plastered with an Asian sauce. Bok Choy was hard, stringy textured and was not my favorite. Beans, pork belly, and rice were good. Overall- for the price I don't see me wanting to come back.
Best restaurant mid priced in Everett, WA. Busy and for a good reason. Do get a reservation. High points about this place are the bar and the ethnic food. If you go, we highly recommend the chicken skewers with peanut dip sauce (appetizer) drunken chicken, pineapple rice, and the honey chicken. Chinese donuts for dessert. Wow! We’ve only ventured into a few dishes but what we’ve tried are highly delicious. Do go there. Small tables in a small restaurant.
The cutest Asian inspired restaurant.. cozy oldies music and plants with a simple menu.. I did 3 starters; pork pot sticks , cornbread, and coconut curry chicken ???? with peanut sauce ..so good and the service was amazing. If you want American bistro- go across the street- but if you want a unique experience then stop in. Also ask for extra peanut sauce ! I used it with other dishes as well ???? thank you ! Server was very sweet as well
Staying at a hotel nearby and wanted some veggies for dinner. Terracotta Red was recommended by the hotel, since it's just 3mins away. Ordered the Red Braised Pork Belly starter, Terra Delight (had to ask them what was in it!), and the Chicken Coconut Milk Soup to go. I didn't order any rice, so I was a little concerned about the salty pork belly....it comes on a generous bed of mixed veggies and pickled onions! So good! The Terra Delight is stir-fried mixed veggies (baby bok choy, Chinese broccoli, mushrooms, lotus root, onions, carrots, and bell peppers). It certainly is delightful! A little on the salty side, since it's in soy sauce, but would definitely be good with some rice. The Coconut soup is different... it has chicken, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, and spinach. Can definitely taste the coconut, but it is also quite sweet. It's not bad, but I wouldn't prefer the sweetness. Overall, excellent meal and experience!
Very quaint place spooky feeling inside just a vibe but it is an old building! Prices are a little high. Food is good though. I love the waiting area when you walk in. Seating feels like I'm at a buffet doesn't feel like you have personal space. ????
So good. So many GF options, I was in food heaven!! Started with the chicken satay and calamari. For our entree we had the Honey Sesame Chicken. Everything was delicious. Fresh and made to order. Can’t wait to try something different, next time.
We had really high hopes coming here based on the reviews, but the flavor profile of every dish was just very off. The Mongolian beef was extremely sweet, the Sichuan green beans was the least flavorful I've ever had, and the special pork belly was tough and chewy. We ended up not finishing or taking the food home (and I usually always do) because it was all just not good. The service was super fast and friendly though, so 5 stars to our server, bur save your money and go somewhere else.
The food was all super sweet. Even the dishes that were supposed to be spicy. There was no char on the meat and everything was swimming and wet - not saucy, just kinda wet. The technique is clearly missing in the kitchen.
The atmosphere was lacking as well. The ceiling is very high and there are some short walls that cut off the reception area and the kitchen, which make for strange acoustics. It just feels like a weird space. More fitting for a cafe.
The service wasn’t great either, we kind of got ignored the whole time, but the sickeningly sweet food overshadowed the rest of the experience.
