Best WLM Reviews
We were recommended this place by a friend and WOW it exceeded our expectations. This hidden gem is tucked away in a shopping center. We initially went for their Korean menu and enjoyed it so much that we went back a week later to try something different. My husband's goal is to eat our way through the whole menu. The owner is so friendly, kind and hospitable. She actually got our daughter to eat something WE couldn't get her to try. The Korean food is delectable, and the Chinese food is the best I've ever had. If you're within driving distance of this place you NEED to go.
This place is my new to go place when I don't know exactly what I feel like eating I just end up pulling in at this place. Lunch portions are large too and are affordable like around $7.75+ and it comes with soup and egg roll as well. Magnolian beef was very delicious the meat melting in my mouth. I had quit a few dishes from there. Wings were also something I enjoyed usually people cook it a bit hard but this place had soft juicy ones. I have few Korean dishes too like bibimbap and ramen and also stir fried squid which was a bit spicy but you can to ask to get mild or medium spice also all the Korean dishes comes with variety of sides like cucumbers and reddish and sometime sardines or fish cake which is always a plus when ordering from Korean menu. Shrimp Fried rice was good too but must try Mongolian. Teriyaki was not my favorite as much.
Super tasty! Their Hunan Chicken is on point! Great service and the atmosphere was nice and quiet. The portions were huge and very reasonably priced. Best hot and sour soup I've ever eaten - just a touch of spiciness...
Fat n Happy!
Ok, so we just moved here and really wanted great Chinese. We got the Happy Family with fried rice and egg roll. We also got their crab angels and dumplings. The crab angels are more of a desert. All you taste is cream cheese and sugar. There is Zero taste of crab or anything savory. Very disappointing as an appetizer. The dumplings were different. I was expecting pan fried but they deep fry them and the filling is a spinach kind of mixture. I actually liked them. Now the Happy Family was absolutely awful. First off the egg roll was sitting in the juice from the meal. (Left back side of meal where you see the sauce had the eggroll). When I picked the eggroll up it literally fell apart because it was so soaked and mushy. Couldn't even try it. The meat in the Happy meal seems to be boiled because of the consistencyand all the juice. The consistency of the chicken was very strange. The shrimp was OK and the brown meat (steak) was intersting. Now the rice..... yuck. Over cooked and mushy and not fried at all. Literally overcooked white rice with something to make a yellow coloring. Was very tasteless. I would get the pot stickers again for sure but nothing else. The only thing we finished was the dumplings. The rest went in the trash.
Been here lot of times, this time we ordered General Tso chicken and Kung Pao Chicken. They come with Hot and Sour soup which is absolutely delicious and our favorite. Must try place in Calhoun GA.
The owner's kindness and above all, the taste was so good and the price was too good compared to the taste. We had spicy squid, bulgogi, mackerel, and seafood Korean pancakes. The side dishes were fresher and tastier than anywhere else I ate.
Thank you for excellent food
One of the better Chinese places in the area. Need to have delivery besides grub hub or door dash. Never lived anywhere where the Chinese restaurants don't deliver like Calhoun GA.
Their Korean side of the menu is really good and their egg rolls appetizers are tasty as well.
Not sure if their Chinese side but my brother in law said that their teriyaki chicken was good.
