My Wife and I were visiting from out of state and were brought here by some friends at church. Wow! So many incredible dishes! We ordered quite an array and EVERYTHING was exceptional! The salsas were SO unique and vibrant. The the Brussels sprouts were hands down the BEST we’ve ever ate! In fact, we came back by ourselves the next day to order more and try some of the rest of the menu. All fantastic again! I can see why it’s a local fav. Great staff and very cozy and inviting atmosphere.
Pretty good food! I loved their tacos!!! My man loved the bone marrow. The staff were really nice. Our waiter, Tyler, was very personable and outgoing. He was honest about his opinion on the food we had questions about, and I absolutely love that.
Teocalli was absolutely packed tonight! Every age was there, drinking, eating, laughing and enjoying the atmosphere and food with their friends and families. Those that weren’t inside were outside underneath the large green umbrellas on Public Road, watching the cars go by. It was quite a scene.
A very popular place. It was the first time that I have been there. I didn’t know what to order and the waiter suggested tacos, so I ordered chicken and rib tacos, that were reduced because of happy hour; and I basically spent seven bucks for an amazing dinner.
Because I’m not used to eating corn, the taco shells did not agree with me, and the texture was like a sponge. Next time I’m going to order naked tacos. Other than that the tacos were really fantastic and pretty much filled me up.
By the time our table of eight were done, the place was hopping and so loud I couldn’t hear the person across from me when she kept saying “it was good to meet you.” Gave us a good laugh, though!
I do plan to be back for happy hour. You really can’t go wrong.
Next-door is Stam the chocolate store, and it felt great to buy just one tantalizing chocolate to put the finishing touch on the meal.
This place is super cool, it's worth the wait. Remember to make a reservation in advance if you can. If not try to grab a seat at the bar while you wait. We spent a decent amount at the time at the bar and at a table with multiple servers and they were all fantastic. There is something for every diet here and the entire kitchen is gluten free. The drinks are wonderful and the atmosphere just feels perfect with the food they did a great job. Their mojitos were not too sweet, their mags are made with all homemade syrups, everything seemed perfectly fresh and rich in flavor. Their menu is labeled very well for different diet preferences and they're happy to work with you to make sure you get exactly what you'd like.
We have dinner here often, and the food is really good every time. We haven't had a dish we haven't liked! The drinks are quite good too. ???????? If you don't know what to order, ask the waiter for recommendations; we have never been disappointed!
I’ve gone to this place quite a few times and will still go again. There is a delightful vibe about Teocalli that keeps me coming back. The service is great except for the hostess. A few times felt like I ruined their day just by walking in. Very “like whatever”, I don't want to be here attitudes. Besides the warm welcome, Teocalli has some of the Best food and a great atmosphere in the area. The kid's quesadilla was not a great choice. Try something else for the kiddos. The salsa can be a little bland, and can excuse some dirty dishes but the water was straight out of Palestine, Ohio(Pray for Ohio). The chem swirls were not ok. Order a beer or bring your water don't risk it. (see pics of waters).
Definitely one of the better restaurants in Lafayette. Awesome margaritas. The food is pretty solid, great chips and salsa combo. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the chicken was dry both times I have had it. Overall good experience although it can be quite busy and wait times can be long.
I love this restaurant!!! Gluten-free? Wow! Everything is delicious, an absolute must.
One of very few Mexican cuisine spots I go to here in Colorado.
Highly recommend grabbing the guacamole as an appetizer. I’m a big fan of their quesa birria tacos, they have two - I tend to enjoy the Tijuana style! It’s got a crispness to it that perfect with the sauce.
This place can get packed so be patient or try to make a reservation.
Large patio and porch seating available. Bar isn’t too big so don’t count on bellying up if it’s a weekend.
Free street parking all around.
