Had an issue while traveling in the area. Stopped by and chatted with the guys here. They were able to get us in right away, stayed open late to fix our vehicle, and the price was a lot less than anywhere else we asked. Friendly, good quality work, and did not try to up sell us on parts we didn't need to get us back on the road. I would recommend TMT for anyone, either traveling through or living locally. It is very nice to fine an auto mechanic that makes you feel like you are getting g a fair deal and quality work. 100% this is how I felt working with TMT.

The back story is important. Friday (6/17) I spent the morning calling shop after shop after shop trying to get my brakes done. Each shop was booked out for at least two weeks. I hopped on yelp and sent Tenney Mountain Auto Repair a message and Patrick (owner and mechanic) responded quickly. I described the issue and he came up with two possibilities, pads and rotors or ball joint. He asked for my VIN# and then sent me an estimate. Very reasonable estimate.

Monday (6/20) the car was at his shop ready for work. He took care of the back brakes and then showed me the front. TO paraphrase," The fronts are fine, but they will need to be done soon.. Let me show you.." I want to make this clear, he said it will be fine for now. I decided to get the fronts done also. He got them done.. ALL UNDER ESTIMATE.

Patrick was knowledgeable, kind, wicked sense of humor, and answered questions. His shop is clean and comfortable (no fancy waiting room, but you can watch him work on your ride). I will use his shop again, in fact already setting up getting a set of tires mounted as soon as possible.

Went to get an inspection. Was able to fit me in earlier than most shops which was great. When talking to pat over the phone every response he gave me had an angry tone. Even when I was in person he always had to snap back, even though I was treating him with respect.

We brought our pick up truck to this garage to have its annual inspection performed. The garage owner refused to conduct the inspection. The reason given was that there were mouse terds on the dash board and a smell inside the cab. We have been regular customers since he opened the garage and have given our business to him for both of our vehicles for both inspections and repairs. We are elderly. I am physically disabled and my husband has Alzheimers. I cannot drive and we need to make arrangements with a Friend to help us bring the truck to him and to bring it home. last fall the owner refused to help me when I asked him to check my tires for a flat as my idiot light had come on indicating low tire pressure. He refused to help me even though we were regular customers. I was able to visit another garage without an appointment and the owner helped me right away. After today’s refusal to inspect our truck we will no longer give this man our business and will not recommend his services to anyone.

Came in because my car was acting sluggish before driving cross country for school. He happily checked my car out for no charge to ease my mind before my departure. Super friendly and will definitely be coming back!

This shop is absolutely superb. It's the rare find, where you get expert service at a very affordable price. It sounds cliché, but it's true. The hardest thing about getting your car fixed is being able to trust a shop. Too often they hit you with extra charges and exorbitant service charges. At Tenney Mountain, you can really trust that you're getting a fair deal from an expert mechanic. Highly recommended!

This place is awesome. It's consistent and reliable, and you don't get charged for stuff you don't need. Great customer service too. There are a lot of bad mechanics out there, but this place is solid. Highly recommend.
