We went on Chinese New Year’s 2/10/24 Great Chinese Cantonese foods by far in Florida. My husband is Chinese and he agrees with me. Foods was so fresh taste great.,lobster special 2 for 22.95$ so cheap and delicious!!! Dim sum excellent everything taste so…..great. Decent portion. It was our favorite restaurant . Thanks for the chefs ????
Service was good but if you go on weekend just need to help yourself go to dim sum cart grab foods yourself because they not have enough waitress but we not mind to hunting for food..haha but waitress was try hard and fast.
Very delicious. Food was served quickly. We highly recommend this authentic Chinese restaurant.
My mom chose this place to celebrate her birthday, so we all gathered to enjoy some good Chinese food. Ling and the other server were accommodating. The food was food, but they said we can only order steamed dim sum if we wanted. Later I guess they made some other dim sum that we could choose from on a cart. My sister is the one who can order food dim sum so she ordered some for the tables (We had to join 2 tables to accommodate our big family).
We also ordered family size orders of a beef dish (I can't remember the exact name), sweet and sour pork, & beef chow fun.
The venue is pretty big and Chinese-mafiaesque, but it's in the part of town that's not always safe. It's located in a strip mall. When you enter, there's a huge TV wall. They said sometimes they have karaoke, but only for VIP.
It’s a typical Cantonese dim sum restaurant, spacious, crowded, noisy and a lot of lights. The ambiance is nice if you’re into this kind of atmosphere. The food was hit and miss, mostly it was good. The big fish on the plate was way over cooked and had lost a lot of flavor. We know this dish well and it was definitely botched somehow. The rest of the dishes were okay, but just average, nothing noteworthy. The service was slow in the beginning but later they became attentive. Overall, it’s okay, but the food didn’t live our expectations.
We went to this place twice in the last two weeks, a typical Cantonese restaurant. It was just opened a few months ago without much fanfare. We saw the notes said twin lobsters promotion for $25 if dine in.
We like the lobster deal, and the pork with preserved vegetables (梅菜扣肉) was very good。The rest were OK and I would preferred more flavor. The meals were lukewarm which we mentioned to the waitress. May explore more in the future.
The service is terrible!!! Don't bother to go there if you are not speaking their language. And, don't waste your money to book a party or wedding here. It was horrible. We just simply asked for coke, but the serve argued with us that they had already put it in the table. Mind you, I'm not blind, nor don't know how to read. Then, we asked for another silverware and new plate, the freaking whole time since beginning until we left, nothing!!! What is the point of the server if I have to do everything by myself while they were just standing there and look at us. Last one, the central air, they intended to turn off the cooling so that we would leave early than the contract ????
The oysters were large and the glass noodles mixed wonderfully in the soy sauce for this traditional dish. The fish was absolutely delicious: tender, beautifully sauced, and cut in flowering filets. The duck blood and the scallions complemented nicely; smooth like tofu but with a bit of extra spring to it. The eggplant was the only thing I felt was off: too sweet. Overall, the dishes were a great example of traditional chinese food if you know what to order!
We’ve gone here with family before and left with a good impression. The food was okay compared to other dim sum in Orlando, and the venue is bigger for family dinners.
That being said, my partner and I have been wanting to come back to try it again since it’s been a while, and we sat down at a family sized table although we were a party of two. There’s no small tables. It’s not couple friendly. We sat for about 30+ minutes and only one cart came by in the time we were there. Carts immediately flowed to big tables.
Unfortunately we will not come back since it’s not couple friendly and prioritizes the big parties despite us being customers also.
