Very interesting concept for A Tee Jayes. I liked it. The food was average and good. The type of food you would expect at a diner. We had fast and friendly service. The thing that bothered me was they didn't close until 4pm and they had locked the door at 3pm and turned away numerous customers in that time.
The waiter was very very helpful respectful and pleasant. The food was served nicely fresh and hot. Cooked to perfection. Service was overall very amazing. Definitely will return back. Tho I didn’t feel to well after I made it home but it wasn’t food poisoning and not saying it was Tee Jays at all it Just saying I noticed I wasn’t feeling well after I made it home and after I ate there. Lasted a few days like 3 of them thangs. But I’m okay now and I’d still go back and recommend others to go enjoy themselves. Satisfied.
I hadn't been to Tee Jayes in years since I left Columbus. Came to town and had to go back to this classic concept. They had moved down the street a bit, and the location was amazing, awesome building and interior decor. Service was awesome! And great value for the food you get. I remember the barnyard buster used to be 5.99 years ago and I had prepared myself, given the current economy, that it was going to be a lot more. However, it was only 8 something! And it was like heaven on a plate! Definitely coming back next time I am in town!
Food was favorable but note enough to give it 5 stars for food. Service was polite and timely! It did have a very clean dining area and the "Wall" facing the street able to roll up because it was in the distant past a fire house, which added to the Atmosphere of this place. Prices are moderate. I went to Tee Jaye's to try the Monte Cristo.
The waitress was friendly and when my barn yard buster was brought out to me cold she quickly replaced it with a nice hot one.
I have always had a soft spot for tee jays. It gave me quite a few fond memories as a kid having dinner or breakfast with my family. I was not happy when it closed at high and morse road. Today I tried their new location in the old bare burger building. It was nothing short of a great breakfast! friendly atmosphere , my server Michelle was very friendly and on top of things. She also happily answered all of my questions. The menu had things from the past and new items as well. I was able to have a terrific breakfast (country fried steak) and enjoy a nice beer with it. I will definitely be coming back as often as I can.
Its TeeJays....all great food that feeds!! My new friends have never been there and loved it all!! They had a superb roast beef sandwich (split)
I can dig the new style ????????…maybe I’m an old head, but I’m glad you guys have the vegetable beef soup totally a hidden gem ???? thank me later….???? I don’t know if I feel old????but I never thought I would see the day. Tee Jay’s with an alcoholic beverage menu.????……. Just waiting for y’all to remodel the south Hamilton location. I’m kind of jealous the East side can use the update.!!!!!!????
