We seem to get lucky with the same wonderful waitress each time we visit! I love this place. Clean, friendly, and they have delicious food!
We visited on Saturday morning. Business had not picked up yet. So we ordered and the food came out within 5 minutes! Super fast. The pancakes were warm, not enough to melt butter, hash browns were cold and bacon was rubbery and felt like the sun warmed it.
All felt like it was precooked except for the over medium egg. This all makes sense. The food was precooked and all we waited on was the egg to be cooked and stuff put on plates.

This is my to go order of the barnyard buster. No potato cakes and a sea of gravy that it took a sec to find the eggs.
Tee Jaye's is about 5 minutes away from where I live. I always wanted to go there because of the awesome commercials they had about 4-5 years ago, when I think they first opened. Being so close, now was my chance. I ordered a small stack of pancakes, three scrambled eggs, and a cup of coffee. All were very good. I like the syrup and butter they use, and the coffee is pretty good to me. My server was especially attentive and I appreciate that. I was there very early so there were not many patrons there. However, as I completed my meal more people were coming. There were also delivery drivers picking up orders as well. I think I spent about $15 or so which is not bad for service. I will definitely go there again before I move from this area.
Refused service 35 minutes before closing. Although they did offer take out, that would have gotten bad by the time I got to my hotel on the northwest side of town. I love the food here and visit anytime I'm in town, but this trip was a heart-breaker.
I have been here twice recently. I did not know it was even there! The food was correct and good, and the servers and workers are SO nice! They get you order right, and it gets done quickly, and it is brought out to you in a timely manner. It could use a little TLC inside, but that may be pert of the "Country place" charm. The last 2 servers we had were on top of it!!! Definitely recommend!
This is the worst TJ's I've ever been to. Service is beyond slow, servers don't pay attention to how you order the food(example crispy bacon is ignored and they bring u regular cooked bacon) eggs and meat were both cold. Will not ever go to this location again
Food is good service is pretty lacking. They did have a sign stating they needed servers so that was understandable. The establishment fit its gimmick that's for sure. It felt like we left the city and went to the country for a while. This reminds me of the small town I grew up in and that was really cool. The menu was very country inspired and all th he food looked authentic and down home style.
