I wish I could rate Teddy’s with infinity stars. They are absolutely amazing! I just had the best hot dog i’ve ever had. Their service is exceptional and you would do yourself a favor by getting food here! My other go to’s include their Italian beef, french fries, Italian ice, onion rings, and chicken sandwich! They really are the best around! Stop by if you’re ever in DG!

Italian ice with “holy water “ kiss is the bombw.
Nothing special for downtown Chicago prcies. Beware the cashier offering upgrades like they're free. A slice of cheese is a buck alone. Adding fries to a cheese and bacon burger ends up costing $20 alone. Wonder if ketchup is locked up as they put none with the small $4 fries .fries are not made in house, will not make a drive without getting cold and have no flavor.
Time is much slower than portillos and double the price apparently.
Teddy’s is our favorite local spot with some of the best Chicago staples! Great hot dogs, beef sandwiches, and pepper and egg sandwiches during lent! Great daily soups as well! We love the Italian ice year round too! Iota a great family owned spot and we keep coming back!
Teddy’s Red Hots is my longtime absolute favorite of Downers Grove! The service there is unmatched and the food quality is amazing. For the last 10 years, they’ve had the same staff working every time I go, and I think that that says a lot about a place. I love getting the grilled chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun, and the Italian ice is fresh and fantastic. You will not be disappointed if you try Teddy’s!
Been coming here since I was a kid. Absolutely the kindest and hardworking staff delivering great food. Love their grilled chicken sandwiches, beef & homemade Italian ice. Homemade chicken wild rice soup is unreal too. Huge menu can’t really go wrong with anything on it.
The service was amazing. They were kind and generous. The food was great, we had a polish, beef, chicken sandwich, burger, fries, onion rings, and soup! It was all good, but that beef was it! We’ll definitely come back.
The beef is amazing. The owner with the long hair is the best. The workers in the back are so pleasant. Great food!
