Not handicap friendly, there is a ramp but once inside you have a tight space and may have to go out and back in a different door. Food is bland, my meat tasted as if it was unseasoned and loaded with water, salsa is watery. Fry’s weren’t bad though.
Ted’s is one of our local favorites. Always get the Atomic salsa and their made in house flour tortillas they are delicious. I had stopped in for lunch and thought I could tackle the sheet pan nachos. Wow it’s a lot of nachos that were tasty and filling that I could not finish so had enough for dinner. The service is usually over the top and very attentive. If in the area give them a try.
Great place to get your Mexican food cravings taken care of. The Fajitas are awesome, and so is everything else. Returned here the other day after a 20-year gap, having moved away from OKC.
This place is pretty mediocre. The food is okay? I feel like it used to be better.
Our server was absolutely terrible.
She was a sweet girl but I have no idea what even her name was, she visited our table after waiting for over 10 minutes to get our drinks, then came back for our order, dropped the food off and asked if we needed anything else, she came back about a few minutes later to see if we needed anything etc. and disappeared for about 20 minutes while we sat and waited on her to get to go boxes. I had to get the attention of the host walking by for help because we were trying to leave!
Meanwhile the server didn’t take a single plate, cup or even offer until the very end when she finally came back after I’m assuming she was told her table needed her? And as I’m paying she offered to take plates.. what’s the point if I’m getting up and leaving?
I was a server for over 10 years and it was very frustrating because we were her only table and it wasn’t busy… not really sure where she was going off to, possibly closing work? But it was very frustrating because I hate having to ask other servers etc for help.
Also every time she was at the table to put something on the table.. like drinks or food she waited for us to take it from her instead of setting it down? Even at the end when she decided was the time to take the dishes she put her hand out like I’m supposed to just hand everything? Which honestly wouldn’t have been a problem if I wasn’t already getting up to leave… it was a very strange interaction.
We’re unfortunately not going to be back to this location. The bathrooms were clean though so that was good!
But other than that nothing made the visit special and it was a waste of money honestly.
I've been coming here since I moved to OKC 25 years ago! When it was the only Ted's in town. The fajitas are amazing (lots less greasy now) same wonderful flavor with caramelized onions. For the sides I got cilantro lime rice and black beans (which could use a little more flavor) but very healthy. Free chips and salsa and tortillas. Best salsa in town and you could kick it up with atomic sauce. Oh! And save room for the sopaipillas for dessert! ????

This place was getting high marks - hands over fist and was recommended for top Mexican at my hotel, so I gave it a try. It was SUPER busy - a good sign, but I was seated in a timely manner and the service was really good. The server confused my order a bit, but not so bad it mattered. The food is colorful and seems very authentic. The warm tortillas could be eaten on their own - fabulous. The only let down, despite how pretty the food looked, was the lack of Mexican seasoning. The seasoning was very dulled to the point where the nachos and taco, even the enchilada had a blurred common taste....fresh but not flavorful. I wanted cilantro, cumin and chilies or chili powder to really pop - it doesn't. The most flavorful items were the sides - rice and beans. They were excellent. You will enjoy your trip but don't be surprised if the flavors don't overwhelm.
This is my first time experiencing this Ted's location. Our server, Brian, was awesome. However, I ordered a Tiny Ted's margarita and the aftertaste was absolutely horrible. Nothing like the other Ted's I've been to. It was impossible to drink. I had two sips, one from the glass and one from the paper straw. It was disgusting. My husband tried it and experienced the same. We are used to a margarita or two for lunch, but something was wrong with the drink, we set it aside. I got sick later on the way home. We did not mention this to Brian because he was great and worked hard while it was busy and I don't mind paying the $5 for the drink. I understand that is on me, but it was like taking a sip of car coolant. We both had simple orders and enjoyed the food but left quickly. I would appreciate for the team to know my experience.
