Best WLM Reviews

So effin good!! The cheddar grits were my favorite, best I've ever had. Also got the blueberry pancakes, eggs and bacon, the brown sugar tart, banana pudding and chocolate pie - all were really good too. Love the sourdough bread that came with our breakfast as well. Nice atmosphere and good service too. Highly recommended! Will be back if I'm ever in the area again - would go all the time to try everything they have if I could.
Top notch breakfast spot!
When we arrived the wait was 30 mins, so we order to go and ate the food at the tables outside.
It took the kitchen 6 minutes to have our meal ready.
Out of our table the best dish was the chicken and biscuits. Oh my gosh, the syrup to chicken to biscuit ratio was out of this world.
The biscuits were perfectly flaky, and allowed for the syrup to seep into it, without making it soggy.
Would definitely recommend.
Our experience at bulletins was wonderful, it was our first stop in our vacation and they really set the bar. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly and got our order in quickly. Then our food came out and was fantastic, everything was cooked perfectly and tasted so good we cleared our plates ???? and we even had room for a couple of their homemade tarts, the blueberry and strawberry were very tasty and I enjoyed the seasonal cherry blossom one they had as well!
My office catered breakfast for us and it was delicious, So we went in person on Mother’s Day. Everyone seemed to enjoy their brunch (see pics below). The service was fine and the atmosphere was cool. 8 out of 10…
My daughter and her friend invited me to have dinner with them at Ted’s Bulletin. Now I was heading to either Jerry’s Seafood or Locavino, but I changed my mind to dine with them.
If you understand when I say the crab cake taste fishy which wasn’t pleasant at all. The French fries were salty.
My daughter ordered the chicken and biscuits with mambo sauce. Chicken was not seasoned. The mambo sauce was not the authentic mambo sauce of DC.
The chicken parmigiana my daughter’s friend had. The chicken was crispy like she likes it however the sauce was okay for the pasta.
I more than likely will not return to this establishment
Oh yeah! When asked about the menu the waiter said everything was good.
Come on now be truthful.
Such a wonderful restaurant! Our waitress, Tiffany, was the best! She noticed it was my birthday in a couple of days and brought us one of their homemade pop tarts “on the house”. Everything tasted amazing! We had the Crab cake Benedict and Chicken and Biscuits and highly recommend them both, as well as the Brown Sugar Cinnamon pop tart!
It wasn’t a bad spot! The service was quick, our large party got sat fairly quickly, and it’s located in a cute neighborhood to walk around in.
The only con is that the “homemade pop tarts” aka puff pastries were pretty dry. Other than that it was great though.
Delicious brunch and diner fare! Reservations are a must as our group of 3 tried to visit for dinner and were told we would have a 2 hour wait. We made reservations for a Monday at 5:30pm. It was a pleasant surprise to see that they held happy hour every weekday from 3-6:30pm where cocktails were $8 each and all starters were $3 off. We ordered the hibiscus paloma, strawberry lemonade, and the aperol spritz as well as the Bavarian pretzels and grilled cornbread to start. The pretzels and cheese were quite good but my personal favorite was the cornbread. Out of the drinks, we all preferred the strawberry lemonade. For the meal, we ordered the Reuben and 2 farmers scrambles. We rounded off the meal with their seasonal cherry blossom tres leches. We probably should have gone without the dessert because it was huge!! Our particular slice was not as spongy as a typical tres leches and much more cake like. Overall highly recommend!
