I love tech automotive their prices are best in town and they don't charge you a bunch of unnecessary fees for things you don't need. The waiting area is just like being at home in your living room they have a nice screen TV for you to watch, a microwave, water, a microwave and coffee and tea for their customers They even have a restroom. Did I mention they have a microwave? Bring your TV dinner or some popcorn to eat while you wait.
Ive brought my scion for repairs to improve the vehicle inside and out and my father has brought a terrain for all of our work. We have had an excellent experience every time we come here. We are always in a rush and the shop squeeze us in since we come from far away. We have gotten timing chains done on the terrain although another shop told us the vehicle needed an engine. The mechanic always tell us why he needs to do the repairs for a good price so i recommend them
I came from a recommendation, I brought my 15 Rouge in after I had it at the Nissan Dealership, the dealer couldn’t fix the issue and changed a lot of parts that did not need to be fixed and said it was a wiring harness issue that they didn’t know about. I came upon Tech-Automotive and they were able to find and fix the issue the vehicle had and also told me that the parts that the dealer had changed were not even necessary and weren’t even programmed. They got my vehicle to turn on and run like it should. I would recommend them if you’ve had an experience like me, they explain to you how everything works and how the repair will fix the issue.
After getting terrible service from a top auto shop in Charlotte. I did some research and based on the reviews decided to call Tech let me say I was not disappointed sevice 10/10. Don’t hesitate give them a call now. Affordable and friendly!
Very frustrating experience. We had to bring the car back three times to have the wiring harness properly repaired. The first time we brought it in, we explained that our headlight was not working because animals had chewed through the wires in the wiring harness. We were told that all the wires of the wiring harness would have to be reconnected in order to find out which wires went to the headlights. After we got home, we realized that the wires to the rear view camera and to the fog lights had not been reconnected properly because now they were not working.
I explained to Tech Automotive that I'm sure they did not realize that all the wires had not been connected properly the first time. We were told we would not have to pay for the entire repair all over again in order for them to reconnect the wires that they had missed in the first repair. However, when we picked up the car after the second repair, they had charged us even more to repair the wiring harness again than they did after the first wiring harness repair. When I asked why they charged so much, they said because they only fixed the wires in the wiring harness that went to the headlights the first time. Why would anyone want to leave some of wires in their wiring harness disconnected? When I complained about the second charge, they hung up on me. This is not an acceptable way to treat customers.
These guys were able to fix the brake line on my Toyota that 2 other places couldn't fix. The labor cost was pretty reasonable too! I'd highly recommend checking them out.
In my time of Need , I was in a crisis when my manual transmission broke down ,being new here to Charlotte I didn't have a regular mechanic to trust with such a significant job I trusted Tech Auto and after a month of having my transmission replaced I couldn't be more satisfied. This is an awesome family business, honest ,and caring . They make you feel like a family friend . I'll be getting all of my automotive needs met here from now on .
Our family and I have been coming here for over 7 years and have always brought every vehicle we have for electrical issues or mechanical. We've brought more than 6 vehicles here and they always get them right and always at a good price. I recommend them as the technician always knows what needs to be done and doesn't ever charge me for stuff I do not need
