The Harrington was much better. Three of us had brunch here and we all left hungry. The bacon was only cooked on one side, there was no ham. The salad bar and breakfast buffet changes were less options and only one soup, which was cold. They only offered ranch as a salad dressing choice. They didn't know what American Fries were and brought French Fries instead. (?!?!) Their menu is difficult to read and harder to understand. Their social media (FB) is disgusting.
First off I met the owner at work she invited myself and my family over as her words was it was on her only to find out in fact it was not on her. The prices are extremely overpriced, tried the breakfast the eggs tasted disgusting my hashbrowns cold never got my toast. All in all I have not had a good experience with the food nor the people.
Me and my husband had their breakfast buffet this morning. It was the worst food ever. The pancakes and French toast was hard as rocks. The sausage links tasted spoiled. They had sausage grave and biscuits but they were so hard you couldn't eat them. Needless to say this was our 3rd time there and WE WILL NOT be going back. I must add the plate at the breakfast bar was dirty and had clumps of sausage gravy on the back of it . And the placemats at the table had coffee stains on them.
Overpriced. Location was dirty. Food was not worth the price. That Cheese burger was 6 bucks and did not include a side. The chili on the coney was flavorless and from a can. My drink glass had bite marks and dents in it.
Just left the place, and the food is so bad that they can't cook. Also, people here have tried to rip me off and even try stealing from me. I overheard that you wanna hide from the police and people that you steal from this place will help any kind of criminal. To top it off, I saw a rat run out of the kitchen where the food was being kept. I'm not coming here again. Would put 0 ???? for being the worst place that I have ever been to.
It sucks ordered on a Friday and they said it would take 15 minutes that was at 615 it is now 7pm and still not done they suck never again will we order didn't get it til 715...said they got busy...gave 2 pieces of cake said cuz it took so long...it should of been free
Want to preface this by saying our waitress was very nice. However, she was doing everything but coffee refills and clearing tables on her own. I understand most were getting the breakfast buffet, but we shouldn't have had to ask for drinks after our food order was taken. As for the food, it was cold. My frozen, not fresh made, french toast was hard as a rock around the edges. Sausage gravy tasted like flour, no flavor. The salad bar was set up and looked like it sat there overnight. The bacon was decent. Had high hopes for this place but was very disappointed. The only way I ever would return is if they invest in a better hot buffet station and improve their quality of food. I may give them a try in the future since they are fairly new, but they have had time to better the breakfast buffet. Almost forgot, they do offer eggs of choice when getting the breakfast buffet - that is a nice touch.
Visited this lovely restaurant on Saturday, August 5, 2023. It was an excellent experience. It had that very "welcome home, you are family" feel & atmosphere. The owner & our waitress were both very friendly! They even were willing to modify a menu item to fit my young daughter"s pickier tastes with food without any hesitation. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling to or through or near Brown City, Michigan. Thanks to everyone there for a wonderful dinner!
