We come up here every year for a couples trip we enjoy the good times that we have in the memories that we make. This year the new front desk lady Tiffany is absolutely the best the friendliest kindest most helpful of all your employees here with that said you have many employees from the front desk that do not need to be here the ones that work the evening and afternoon shift are very hateful p they do not like to help you they are rude to us when we speak to them or ask for anything my advice would be to do a new overhaul and get some new employees that want to do their job and enjoy working for your company like Tiffany does.... The other thing that I would like to maybe put a request in from your customers would be to bring back the beach box and the free breakfast because that's why a lot of people would come East Tawas Bay Beach resort because you offered something that others did not..... We will be back as long as you keep great employees as Tiffany..... See you next year ????????
MAKE SURE you bring all that you need. Also you have to go somewhere else for breakfast because they are short staffed,so that needs to be fixed Because I don't want to leave the building just for breakfast or have to pay a arm and a leg to get it delivered over there when im already paying just to stay in that room for a couple of nights,they should definitely just include that all together, and I'm pretty sure the employees don't want to have to work themselves to death trying to do EVERYTHING. They don't have an elevator, which is also bad, especially for the elderly and people with a lot of luggage. The location is gorgeous though, the water is very beautiful and the sand is very soft BUT there a bunch of pieces of wood and some trash near the shore,almost like something broke over there. Everyone was so nice there, though,very helpful, and all had such positive attitudes, so that's why I gave 5 stars. I do recommend this place just be prepared to spend a bunch of money????
Had a great experience checking in and had to switch rooms to stay another night. Was charged 250 for smoking in the room when we did not smoke in our room. Was told the next guest couldn't even check in because of the smell. We have been waiting an hour to talk to a manager about this issue. We had planned on doing our wedding here and future vacations but after this we will never be back
Walking into the upstairs room for the first, my reaction was wow this is big, the bed was big the bathroom was big!! Our view outside was amazing, the bed was soft, the hot water persurre was great, the hot tub was amazing!! And the staff members did their job great!! I give this 5 stars!!
Great weekend getaway place. Pool, hot tub, sauna wonderful. Like having restaurant and bar on site which had nightly events. Karaoke was fun. Drinks way to expensive though. Staff very nice. Walkable to a lovely town with good eateries and shops. Enjoyed a movie in the theatre over 100 years old. State Park close and we enjoyed a lighthouse visit and hiking. Highly recommend this town.
Rooms where average, but the views were absolutely stunning. The bar downstairs was amazing. We had fish some kind of apple cocktails and everything was to die for. The lighting, the view at night, it was the most romantic night of my life!! Would love to come back and enjoy it in the summer????????????????
!! Attention Paying Guest!! You should know what you're paying for White blankets not being washed between guest mattress covers never get changed the brown liners at the bottom of the bed don't get changed makes for nesting grounds for bugs also coffee pots totally disgusting and fridges toilet have so much grime at the bottom not only that but the supervisor steals tips from hardworking housekeeping staff very very unprofessional I've been a housekeeping inspector for yrs and what I seen is so gross and this is what they are doing to paying guests
We got a King bed, street side. I was told it was one of the best places to stay in town. I have never seen a hotel room so dirty and have mystery substances on the furniture. Dusty, dirty, broken, tv didn't work, ... it was just so sketchy. The receptionist was kind and hospitable, no complaints there. The doors from the outside in weren't working so anyone can get in. The stairs and halls were dirty. Our room had a broken lock so we put furniture in front of the door for some kind of security.
