We absolutely love the Tavern! It's a friendly, quaint, and welcoming atmosphere! Like walking into Cheers! The staff is fantastic, the food is good and they have good bands on rotation!
This place is very old looking, the food is very disappointing when it comes to flavor. It looks good and is hot and fresh, but it leaves you wanting more flavor for the price. The cheese steak eggrolls were just meat and cheese, leaving me wanting some fresh ingredients in them like onions and peppers. The wings were requested crispy but were served soggy. Looked dark like they were cooked long enough. However, I would say that is because of old oil. The beef tacos are light on flavor as well, and the hard shell was a bit stale. A quick warm-up in a deep fryer with fresh oil would cure that. They were stuffed so full there was no room for the salsa, sour cream, or cheese that they serve on the side. Save your money unless you're already drunk and hungry. This is basically the only scenario I can dream up where this food might taste good.
A great watering hole for the town and a magical Open Mic Night on Wednesdays with a great host and even greater selection of tunes. Something about this street.
Nice bar. We were waiting for our dinner order and popped in. Friendly place. AC could have been lowered. Enjoyed it.
Visited St Leonard Tavern for first time today, 6/14/23. I ordered 4 oz cheeseburger with side of onion rings and one chef salad to go. Got home and thoroughly enjoyed both the cheeseburger & onion rings! The chef salad looks delicious and will be enjoyed tomorrow. Karen is very nice, prices are very reasonable, food is delicious!
A great place for a drink, bar food, conversation, and music.
The back room has a fantastic amount of space for the pool tables. The front gives a little too much space for the raised "stage" area. Overall a nice little joint for small shows and decent bar food.
Very laid back out of the way Tavern.The food is very good. The Staff makes it a pleasure to be there. They always have some type of activity including corn hole. Fun to watch. I also like the fact that you can take your drink outside and sit at one of there many tables. A Cheers Tavern!
