Food wasn't that good. Chips soggy because lettuce was piled on them. Found two over ripe cherry tomatoes under the hamburger bun. How they got there is a mystery. The salmon salad was tasteless and very overdone. Very dry. The vinegrette was basically French dressing. A few cherry tomatoes and very few little chunks of cucumber. Poor excuse for a salad. The server was great, but should've offered something to excuse the salad.
First time here. Love it! I ordered the Bacon Avocado Burger and sub'd the Chios for their seasoned waffle fries.
Really good dishes. Nice tiki theme. Beautiful view. Bad reviews are for long waits when it's busy. Well ya. Only place around for a while. Chill out
Visited on Dec 29, 2023, the Friday before New Year’s. Understaffed because of the New Years holiday weekend. The bartender and cooks handled large groups of customers at once very well. Food was warm and the service was excellent!
Worst experience I have ever had. First off a dock post broke which made me fall in the lake. And to be honest I didn’t mind until later and noticed my tailbone got bruised. Their unkind staff did not help. Our family ordered drinks which’s showed up in a reasonable time but on the other hand are food never showed up and then there bar manager threatened to call the law enforcement on us when we refused to pay for are food that never showed up. 380 dollars for four pitchers seems a little high to the average blue collar American. I would give this place negative stars if I could. PS my niece is still upset because they do not know how to make a kitty cocktail
First time visiting - Went for a late lunch, indoors was pretty empty/slow. Grabbed our own water and menus and headed to the patio. It was busy out there, but never once was greeted or asked if we wanted other drinks. Almost ignored really by 4 different servers for some reason. Staff seemed a little overwhelmed, and lacking training. Would run up and down the stairs to take one set of silverware back to the kitchen vs multitasking or taking more than one thing back. Ended up just leaving because no one ever came over, the table next to us said it took 45min just to get drinks and we didn't time to sit there for and hour +
Otherwise seems like a cool place and really could be a money maker if the training and a plan was there to serve people. Hopefully things can change in the future.
Worst restaurant experience ever...was told the food would be a 45 minute wait. No problem it was busy. The 45 minute wait eventually turned into over 2 hours. Our waiter was great and honest with us on the kitchen issues. If not for him it would've been the worst night out ever. Being told our food was next on the line but yet not on the grill was frustrating and it does not take 3 hours to make a burger and wraps.
We had a party of 15. There was only 1 waitress on staff and 1 cook. The service was terrible. Waited 60 minutes for 2 appetizers. Waitress was not attentive. The meals came out stagged and this led to the final 2 meals coming out after everyone else had finished their meals. My food was good but due to the poor service we will not be back. Also the dining room temperature was terribly cold. We had to wear our coats and hats throughout our meal. The waitress stated she was not allowed to touch the thermostat and there was no other supervisor available to talk to.
