I've gotten a few tattoos back home in Maryland from the same guy for all of them. When I moved up to Northeast, Ohio I was definitely looking for a great artist and I was lucky enough to find Ana who did one of my coworker's tattoo. She was awesome and the experience was really enjoyable, plus I walked out with an awesome tattoo! Would 100% go back!
They are super clean and artists are amazing. I have gotten my last 3 tattoos by Gabe absolutely amazing. Hands down best artist.
If you want a personal professional experience with an artist that listens and works with you to get the best possible end product, Crucible is the place to go. Your happiness is paramount to Jay and the staff, all are always very helpful and considerate. The experience and talent show in the work. Everywhere I go,
everyone is always impressed with the detail and overall look of my work (I have about 90% of a sleeve all done at crucible). I have never been anything other than please walking away from a session and you wont either.
Jay did an amazing job on my cover up! Not only was his work incredible, but he is also very personable and fun to talk to. I will absolutely be going back for my next tattoo.
Crucible Tattoo has a different atmosphere than most tattoo shops. Since it is custom tattoos, you get exactly what u want. Jay is a seasoned artist who takes great pride in his knowledge of tattoos, artistry, customer relations, and overall tattoo experience. The shop is clean and friendly, with the customers being the number one priority.
I am a very picky and dont trust easy it took 8 yrs to find someone to execute what image that I had pictured in my mind witch is hard to explain and this artist was amazing and my tattoo come out so amazing and I will be back to get all of my other tattoos. This place makes you feel easy and comfy while you are getting yr tattoo.
I’ve had three tattoos at crucible sine October last year, all of them exceeded my expectations. I luv them all and wouldn’t change a thing. The first were my eyebrows which I understand can be most difficult to do right and to each person’s individual asymmetrical features. I have had many compliments on them which is nice , but more importantly is that I adore them. I’ve had people that do eyebrows using the newer method mistake them for that procedure . I’m happy I didn’t listen to those that encouraged me not to get them tattooed, and stayed firm with my decision to entrust Jay with that task.

All I wanted was a small tattoo. Something about the size of a quarter, but i got more than I bargained for with this incredibly unprofessional tattoo parlor. I had found a groupon for a $30 “micro tattoo” listed at half the original price, sounded too good to be true. That should’ve been my first clue that something was not right. I naively bought the (non refundable) groupon. I was planning to get my tattoo on a friday evening and I had called at about 5:00 to make sure that they accepted walk in appointments. The kid that answered the phone was very friendly and ensured me that they did take walk ins, however his boss was the only one that did the groupons and that he wasn’t in but that he should be back by 6 or 6:30. Now I live in North Canton, which is a fair distance away from this place (about 40 minutes) but hey anything for a good deal. So at about 6:00 I leave my house and drive to this tattoo shop and I arrive at about 6:45, the doors are locked. So having driven so far I’m not about to just give up and drive home, I call the shop and the same kid answers informing me that they’re open until 9pm he then hands the phone off to his boss (who answered with an attitude like I was a nuisance) the boss then tells me that they are an appointment only shop AND that they only accept the groupon on Mondays, completely different information than I had been given on the phone not 2 hours before and something not listed at all in the fine print of the groupon. I left unsatisfied and will certainly not be returning to redeem my purchase. I hope that this review can save someone else out there like me from this scam of a tattoo parlor.
